Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Secretary Cristina A. Roque said on Tuesday, June 30, that the Philippines is open and prepared to be the Greater Bay Area’s preferred strategic partner to access the Association of Southeast Asian Nations' (ASEAN) market.

Roque led the call to combine Hong Kong and the GBA’s financial and technological capabilities with the country’s young, skilled workforce to create supply chains that "turn green compliance and technological integration into an absolute market advantage." (Video courtesy of SCMP Live)
