AI love you? Chinese company says its humanoid robots can accompany singles 'for a lifetime'  Chinese robotics company UBTech unveils its new bionic humanoid robots powered by artificial intelligence (AI) and marketed as a remedy for loneliness for singles and the elderly. "Our bionic robots can accompany you for a lifetime, it's an endless love," says Michael Tam, CEO of UBTech's consumer brand, UWORLD. "It will never betray you, will always be loyal to you, and will love you unconditionally." Starting at 119,800 yuan (15,500 euros), the robots, called U1s, seek to offer a type of LLM in humanoid robot-form which can offer "emotional companionship" to users, says Zhou Jian, UBTech's founder.
