A restaurant featuring humanoid waiters and a robot music group, along with a pharmacy and a warehouse, are all on offer at a robot mall — China's first to sell humanoid and consumer-oriented robots. The mall, which will open on Aug. 8, 2025 in Beijing ahead of the 2025 World Robot Conference, which takes place in the Chinese capital on the same day, integrates sales, service, spare parts, and customer feedback surveys -- the so-called '4S' retail model. Robots range in price from 2,000 yuan [$278.33] up to several million yuan. The store says it will also provide a robot leasing service.
