I had planned to make a HEROES UNITE where the actual heroes were mankind itself fighting against terrorism. Originally, I was going to use war movies like Black Hawk Down and Saving Private Ryan set to a remake of Genesis’ “Land of Confusion.”
Then I ran into a great video done by annnaly using game trailers and cinematics. I was like, “Now THAT kind of action and madness fits the song waay better!”
Where he took the game road, I stuck with my original plan to use movie footage but this time dropping the political/war films for sci-fi/fantasy ones. Annnaly himself approved this to be called World of Confusion II, but it is not the official sequel…he is working on that himself =)
