There are a lot of great villains in gaming, but for me, nobody comes close to Vaas Montenegro.

Ever since I first played Far Cry 3, Vaas stuck with me in a way very few characters ever have. It wasn’t just the “definition of insanity” speech — it was the energy, the unpredictability, the feeling that every scene with him could explode at any second. He felt dangerous, real, broken, charismatic, and terrifying all at once.

In this video I wanted to talk about why Vaas became my favorite villain in gaming, why people still remember him over a decade later, and how he completely changed the atmosphere of Far Cry 3 whenever he appeared on screen.

Even now, after replaying the game years later, those scenes still hit just as hard.

If you enjoyed the video, feel free to like, subscribe, and share your own favorite gaming villain in the comments.
