00:10So ArenaNet posted a teaser. We were all trying to get our hopes of that it was Guild Wars 3
00:13and lo and behold at Summer Game Fest they revealed Guild Wars 3. So fast facts to get
00:18out of the way first. First beta is happening next year in 2027. It is launching on PC and
00:24PlayStation 5. It is taking place a thousand years before the events of Guild Wars 1. You're going to
00:29be a member of this adventurers guild balancing the needs of like the spirits in the wilderness
00:34of ore with civilization and you have this mount that you have a connection to. They're emphasizing
00:39this like one-of-a-kind movement system is what they're calling it which is exciting to me because
00:44they've already done so much in Guild Wars 2. Like the way that mounts feel so different from each
00:49other. Jumping puzzles that like used to make me tear my hair out until I got good at them but
00:53I
00:53love jumping puzzles now. And like the verticality of exploration. Whatever they think one-of-a-kind
00:58movement system is that's above and beyond what Guild Wars 2 has right now. I'm interested to see
01:03it. They're also talking about having a control system that works for gamepad because of the
01:08console launch right and keyboard and mouse. I feel like that's going to make some people nervous
01:11but what I want from MMOs right now is I'm so sick of hotbar combat. I'm just so tired of
01:17it. I'm
01:17tired of button matching hotbars. So if they want to do this more action RPG type combat style,
01:22I want to try it. I'm here for it. I want to try it. I don't know if it's going
01:24to work,
01:25but I like where their head's at in that too. I spent thousands of hours in Guild Wars 1 as

01:30teenager starting in like 2006 for me probably and then I spent double of that thousands of hours
01:36in Guild Wars 2 as an adult and I've been lapsed for a couple years. I haven't played in a
01:40while,
01:40I'll admit. But if there's anything that's going to bring me back, it's Guild Wars 3. There's a Steam
01:45page up. Beta is happening next year in 2027. You can watch that new trailer.
