00:10But surely there would be hardly anybody here who is not in love with Kabir.
00:15But do we celebrate any particular day in the year relating to Kabir Sahib?
00:20That is not because of lack of love.
00:22That is simply because of lack of knowledge.
00:25To celebrate somebody's birthday,
00:27first of all you must know his birthday.
00:29And he would call himself Kabira or Kabir.
00:32He would never give himself a title or a sabrike, nothing.
00:36That's honesty to the bone, to the core.
00:38In fact I have this grudge against India just because Kabir Sahib was so humble about himself.
00:44So India has not really given him the place he deserves.
00:48We still address him as Kabir.
00:50Very very ordinary and far lesser folks are addressed far more admiringly and respectfully.
00:58But the greatest of them all is called Kabir.
01:01And not that he did not know that the world lives on pretense and showmanship.
01:06He knew all those things.
01:08And yet he would say Kabir.
01:09When I am with Kabir Sahib, I feel grateful for being alive.
01:13I am grateful I was born so that I could come upon Kabir.
01:16I am grateful I was born so that I could come upon Kabir.
