00:00That lion roar you hear everywhere is actually coming from a tiger.
00:05That eagle sound you hear everywhere actually makes this sound.
00:11Because what you usually hear is a red-tailed hawk.
00:15The sound of spaceships and explosions in space films like Star Wars
00:18couldn't really exist because sound doesn't propagate in vacuum.
00:22The necklace that you can easily pull off in movies like that
00:25doesn't really work like that in real life.
00:27When people go on stage in movies to use the microphone,
00:30there's always a high-pitched noise that doesn't always happen in real life.
00:34The noise that guns and firearms make in every movie
00:37wouldn't really make that noise unless they're just broken and destroyed.
00:41I made a whole video about that phenomenon that is called the coconut effect
00:44where sound designers intentionally put artificial sound effects for horses
00:48for example that usually were made with coconuts
00:51and that were still used afterwards for every noise a horse could make
00:55even though it wasn't realistic.
00:56And coconut effects like that you can see a lot today in movies.
01:00So if you're interested in that feel free to check my video on that subject
01:02and also to comment your own favorite coconut effect.
01:05Also don't forget to like and follow.
