US airplane loaded to help quake rescue efforts in Venezuela

Personnel and relief equipment are deployed on a US airplane after powerful earthquakes in Venezuela on June 24, 2026 killed at least 900 and injured thousands. Secretary of State Marco Rubio promised a 'whole-of-government response' that would be 'fast' and 'effective.' Offers of rescue support, aid and condolences continued to pour in for Venezuela on June 25.
