00:00The Netherlands were guaranteed to finish in the top two in Group F before a ball was kicked,
00:05as they took on and already eliminated Tunisia in Kansas City.
00:09And over in Dallas, just a point would secure Japan's second spot and Sweden,
00:13a qualification spot via third place.
00:15The other caveat was escaping a knockout-wrong matchup against Brazil as group winners,
00:20as the Dutch quickly established an early lead.
00:30Within seven minutes, the Orange fans were celebrating a second.
00:44While over in Dallas, it took just short of an hour for the plot to thicken.
01:00But Sweden didn't leave the plot much time to simmer.
01:14That's because a victory would secure second spot for the Swedes as they went in search.
01:27Back in Kansas City, the Netherlands had all but wrapped up top spot as they responded to Tunisia's goal.
01:46But Sweden was still desperate to snatch the lead in Dallas.
01:49Go into the far corner, good save by Suzuki.
01:53And they were looking that the bounce didn't fall to a Swedish player, Japan.
01:57And they came close once more in the dying moments.
02:08However, it ended 1-1 giving Japan second spot and a date with Brazil,
02:12while Sweden advanced from third place.
02:15And in Kansas City, the Dutch won Group F to set up a knockout-wrong matchup with Morocco.
02:20And that is it.
