KPMG's Community Care Day 2009 in Columbus, Ohio. CCD is United Way of Central Ohio's largest one-day call to action for volunteering and creating change in your neighborhoods. As a result of Community Care Day, agencies, schools, churches and neighborhoods save thousands of dollars in manpower and project costs and complete plans that would sometimes take months to complete, in just one day. They are then able to channel their dollars and volunteer support directly into programs and services for the community.
