00:20kind of suggests that the past normalization is not going to be a straight line but what did we
00:26see and how much of a an illustration of risk does it present yeah i think that this really
00:36indicates that what was expected to be a potentially rapid reopening of the international waterway in
00:42the strait of humus is a lot more challenging um of course no white house official we haven't heard
00:48anyone from the administration really publicly say or shift blame and in terms of who struck this shift
00:54ship but um of course they are looking into it um i know that there are reports attributing it to
01:00iran
01:00but the white house has not said anything publicly on that front but i think it does complicate the
01:04process and also shows how fragile this agreement between the u.s and iran uh is
01:12especially around the issue of whether or not they will be charging any tolls or service fees
01:18transiting through the strait of humus what do we know
01:25yeah i mean we saw secretary of state marco rubio give very strong remarks saying that the
01:30administration is absolutely against any kind of toll or fees i think he called it a quote-unquote
01:36semantics when it comes to whatever it is uh and and the white house is very worried that issuing any
01:42kind of toll or fees i know that iran is angling for that potentially uh but that could be a
01:48slippery
01:48slope with other nations wanting to do the same um so i know that the white house has been clear
01:53from
01:54the front that any kind of toll on an international waterway is not something that they find acceptable
01:58it would not be part of any kind of agreement between the u.s and iran uh given kind of
02:03the shaky
02:03grounds that this peace deal is on right now
