00:22Fabio, for people who are not familiar with WeRoad, tell us what exactly it is that you're aiming to offer.
00:28Okay, we do organize trips for a small group of people who don't know each other before leaving.
00:34So the idea is create a context for people to mingle while traveling.
00:39So you pick up our destination, like can be Indonesia, can be Peru, Iceland, whatever, and you depart solo and
00:47you meet about 50 strangers, same age.
00:50And again, the idea is in this context you can travel, experience the local stuff, at the same time making
00:58new friends from your own country.
01:00The value of the relationship that you're developing, like 10 days, spending 10 days with 10, 15 strangers, is unvaluable.
01:08Because after, at the beginning it's a bit cringy, you know, the people for the first time who are these
01:14guys.
01:14And then after a couple of days, it's like you're friends since forever.
01:18In these days where so many people are wedded to their digital devices, how do you go about giving people
01:26an authentic experience?
01:28I think the most powerful part of what we wrote is the fact that it's the serendipity.
01:34Okay.
01:35Okay.
01:36You travel with people same age because we have two age bracket 25 to 35 and 35 to 40, 49
01:42sorry.
01:42But the point is belonging to the same generation.
01:44And once you have that, the same generation thing is important because you have a common background, common cultural references,
01:53you know.
01:53But once you have that, it's completely random, it's the destination that it's selecting, it's doing the match for you.
02:00Because it's the only way to actually connecting with people that you want to be exposed again in real life.
02:11How do you see the future for WeRoad the next five years? What would you like to develop?
02:16And consider that our vision has always been connecting people, cultures and stories, and there's no trouble in it, you
02:25know.
02:25It's just about the connection.
02:27So what I'm seeing, what we're seeing for WeRoad in the next five years, first of all, an expansion beyond
02:34Europe.
02:34Now we started nine years ago and now basically we are the only brand doing such a thing in Europe.
02:41We're expanding to the US, probably I'm expecting to go even beyond the US.
02:48So I like this kind of, this way of traveling and connecting, becoming global.
02:53That's one part.
02:55And the other part is not stick just to the trips, you know, but also expanding to other social activities.
03:02So my point is an occasion for people to connect and mingle and be much more open-minded.
03:10Well, thank you very much for talking to us here on New Year News. It's been a pleasure.
03:13Thank you, Docs.
