00:00Great British Summer Savings is about helping families during what I know can
00:04be a tough period over the summer holidays when you've got the kids off
00:08school for six weeks and you have to take time off work and you've got to
00:12keep the kids entertained and I get it that the cost of living is still
00:16people's number one concern and so to help people make those happy memories
00:22cherish that time together over the summer we've taken VAT down from 20% to
00:275% on a whole range of activities for the kids whether it's trips out for the
00:32day like a castle like this or the soft play or theatre or cinema tickets for
00:36kids or whether you're taking your kids for lunch or tea a restaurant or a pub
00:41taking the VAT down on those things to help people really make the most of this
00:45great summer
