00:01With the first pick in the 2026 NBA Draft, the Washington Wizards select Anise Dabansa Jr. from Brigham Young University.
00:14The debate, the conversation, it's over.
00:20In a class that's been touted as one of the deepest in recent memory, it is Anise A.J. Dabansa,
00:26the freshman out of BYU, that the Washington Wizards select number one overall.
00:32And Dabansa, he traded high school experiences like going to prom to shape himself into the blueprint of a top
00:41selection.
00:42But this, sharing the dream he's talked about and worked towards for so many years with his father, Ace, his
00:48mom, Chelsea, his sister, Samara and Jasmine.
00:51This is what the draft is all about.
00:53And he's talked about being number one.
00:56He's expected, he has manifested, and now he is certainly that.
01:00And in his lone season at BYU, he scored the most points by a freshman in Big 12 history behind
01:05his favorite player, Kevin Durant.
01:07And the Brockton native day, it was very important to him that it was specifically Brockton and not the Boston
01:12area.
01:12He was a finalist for the Naismith, the Wooden Awards.
01:16He's not just got the skilled, he has the charisma and the confidence to be a franchise player.
01:22And the mentality of a true pro.
01:26AJ, you wanted to be the number one pick.
01:28Yeah.
01:29You are now the number one pick.
01:31Just what does it feel like when your childhood dream comes true?
01:35It just means a lot.
01:36Obviously, it's just a stepping stone.
01:37Obviously, I have a lot more work to do, but a testament to all my hard work and all the
01:41discipline and sacrifices that I made.
01:42You go by AJ.
01:44Yeah.
01:44But you wanted to be announced tonight as the number one pick.
01:47Yeah.
01:48By the name, your formal name that you share with your father, Anisei.
01:52Yeah.
01:52Why did you want to do that?
01:54I mean, everything I do is for him.
01:56And this name he gave me is really his name because he's senior.
01:58So I also want to honor him this day, too.
02:00Now introduce us to who you have up here with you.
02:02My oldest sister, Samara, and my youngest sister, Jasmine.
02:05What does it mean to you guys to see your brother realizing his dream like this?
02:10It's so crazy because it's like when we were younger, you used to see him in the backyard, you know,
02:16playing basketball.
02:17And now he's the number one pick for the NBA.
02:20Like, he's come so far.
02:22He's your knucklehead little brother, right?
02:24Now he's the number one pick in the draft.
02:26How do you reconcile that?
02:28It's just crazy because it's like he's worked really hard for this moment.
02:33And I'm so proud of him.
02:35You know, he knows that.
02:37He knows I'm proud.
02:38Congratulations to all of you guys.
02:42With the second pick in the 2026 NBA draft, the Utah Jazz select Darren Peterson from the University of Kansas.
02:55Well, the Utah Jazz, they feel like they just selected another number one pick in Darren Peterson, a freshman out
03:02of Kansas.
03:02He averaged just over 20 points a game for the Jayhawks.
03:05That's the most by a freshman in Kansas history.
03:08And veteran C.J. McCollum, who is one of Peterson's mentors, right, he said that his ceiling, Peterson's ceiling, it
03:15could really be whatever he wants it to be.
03:17And, Jay, you saw it firsthand.
03:19The talent is clearly there.
03:21We didn't necessarily get to see him at full strength at Kansas.
03:25But what is Utah getting?
03:27They're getting the most talented prospect in this draft.
03:30He is a fluid, smooth, almost artistic scorer.
03:35He's got all the measurables as well.
03:37He's not as tall as Devonta, but he's 6'5".
03:40He's got a wingspan that goes to 6'10".
03:43He's very athletic, but he can really shoot it.
03:46His shot preparation is excellent.
03:48He moves without the ball very well.
03:51And he is very creative in getting his own shot.
03:54So he can shoot it off DHOs.
03:56He can shoot it off the catch, off the dribble.
03:58He moves off screens.
04:00You know, his catch and shoot numbers were excellent.
04:02I see all the emotion there.
04:03That was your grandfather, actually, that gave you that big hug.
04:06Just what was he saying to you?
04:08He was just happy.
04:08He didn't even say much.
04:09He was just happy for me.
04:11Yeah, he was just super happy for me.
04:12When you look back at all of those workouts that your dad put you through,
04:16did you guys ever think that it would lead to this,
04:19the number two pick in the NBA draft?
04:22Honestly, I didn't, but my pops always knew.
04:24And once I got older, I started to believe it as well.
04:26But all of it paid off.
04:28And, Mr. Darrell, what does it mean to you that throughout his career
04:32he's chosen to wear the number 22 in honor of you?
04:35It means a lot.
04:36You know, that was my number.
04:38It shows how much he believes and respects me as a dad.
04:42And he just embraced it.
04:44Ms. Sasha, just how proud of you are your son right now.
04:49It's just a blessing.
04:49I'm just happy to be here and be a part of his journey.
04:53Congratulations to all of you guys.
04:54Enjoy the ride.
04:55Appreciate it so much.
04:56With the third pick in the 2026 NBA draft,
05:00the Memphis Grizzlies select Cameron Boozer from Duke University.
05:08Cameron Boozer, he has been a winning player at every single level.
05:12And now he is on his way to Memphis.
05:15Boozer, the consensus national player of the year,
05:18for AP All-America first team selection.
05:21He is the son of two-time NBA All-Star and NCAA champion.
05:26You see him there, Carlos Boozer.
05:28But it was his mom, Cameron told me,
05:30who drove him to every single practice, every tournament,
05:34helped him find all of his trainers.
05:36He, of course, played with his Trin brother, Caden, at Duke as well.
05:41And this quote, I think, just gives such great insight.
05:44As you see, a very proud pops right there
05:46into the winning mentality of Cameron Boozer.
05:49He said, whether I go one or I go 15, it's about fit.
05:53I just want to have a long career.
05:55Where it starts doesn't determine where I'm going to finish.
05:58And Jay, you've said that looking at Cam's numbers,
06:01he really did have a case here to be the number one pick.
06:03No question.
06:04And again, I think he's the best pure basketball player in the draft.
06:08I have known you guys since you were little, little, little.
06:11So I just feel so much happiness for you guys right now.
06:14But for you, Cameron, you've known this moment was coming, right?
06:18But what's it like when you finally hear the commissioner say your name?
06:22I don't even know how to describe it, honestly, man.
06:24It's crazy.
06:25I just, instant happiness, instant joy.
06:28Basically my whole life in a couple of seconds.
06:30So it was amazing for sure.
06:31And CeCe's over there trying not to cry.
06:33I'm going to get to you, Ms. CeCe.
06:35But first for you, Cam, you and your brother, Caden,
06:38you guys came into the world with a purpose.
06:40And that was to save your older brother, Carmani,
06:44who was battling sickle cell disease.
06:45You guys did that.
06:47And I know that this moment is your moment.
06:49But in your mind, how much of it belongs to your brothers as well?
06:53Yeah, I mean, it's my moment, but it's our moment.
06:55You know, as a family, you see us all sitting here.
06:57You know, I wouldn't be here without any of these guys right here.
07:00And girls, of course, my mom.
07:01But, you know, it's just a great feeling to be here with them.
07:04They've been there with me every step of the way.
07:06So it's amazing for sure.
07:08And, Carmani, I know how tight all of you guys are.
07:11Just what's it mean to you to know that your brother, little guy,
07:14your little brother, probably a little taller, though,
07:16but your little brother is the number three pick in the draft.
07:20Being able to see everything he does, works hard, and shows up.
07:24I couldn't be more proud of someone.
07:26And to be able to call my little brother is amazing.
07:29And, Ms. CeCe, I go back to almost 20 years ago,
07:35you guys were dealing with so much fear and uncertainty at that time.
07:40And now here you are, 19 years later, all of your boys are thriving.
07:45Like, how would you describe this journey to get here?
07:49I think it's really just faith over fear.
07:51So, you know, we battled that adversity as a family,
07:55and now we get to celebrate as a family and be here to watch Cameron.
07:58And I just couldn't be more proud.
08:00And, Carlos, I just keep thinking of the kids in their three Bulls jerseys
08:04at the Heat game cheering for the Heat.
08:07That was hilarious.
08:08But what have you told Carmani about what to expect as an NBA rookie?
08:15Yeah, first, just so proud of him, man.
08:17Like, the dedication.
08:18You heard Carmani talk about it, his sacrifice.
08:21He shows up every single day.
08:22I'm just happy for him, man.
08:24Take each moment.
08:24Enjoy each moment.
08:25Obviously, be where your feet are.
08:27This is something you've been waiting for your entire life.
08:29And go enjoy it, man.
08:30Go enjoy it.
08:31Congratulations to all of you guys.
08:33I know this is a family affair.
08:34Congratulations.
08:40With the fourth pick in the 2026 NBA draft,
08:44the Chicago Bulls select Caleb Wilson from the University of North Carolina.
08:52A big market fit for Caleb Wilson's big personality here.
08:586'9 forward out of UNC, headed to Chicago.
09:02I mean, you hear the music, right?
09:03That's a pipeline that has been successful before.
09:06And he shares this moment with his mom, Sabrina, his dad, Jerry, who coached him up until he was in
09:11eighth grade.
09:12And his 12-year-old sister, Jackson, who Caleb says he really wants to be a role model for.
09:19And he wants to continue to give her someone to look up to.
09:22But his season was cut short.
09:23He missed the final nine games with some hand injuries.
09:26Now he uses that as motivation.
09:28But, Bobby, you said that Wilson, he was one of the best pre-draft interviews you've ever done.
09:32He was.
09:32And not just because he likes Fleetwood Mac and Legos.
09:35Caleb, it was just about ten years or so ago that you were an aspiring little hooper in Atlanta going
09:42to Hawks camp.
09:43And now here you are, the number four pick in the NBA draft.
09:46How did that kid get here?
09:49That kid got here by hard work, believing in himself and having a great support system.
09:53You know, I stepped on a vision, kept working, and now it's time to see red, man.
09:57You broke your hand in February.
09:59And then you broke your right thumb in March.
10:01Just how is all that doing now?
10:03It's doing great.
10:03It's doing great.
10:04I feel great, and, you know, I feel like that happened for a reason.
10:07You know, I'm grateful for the opportunity to, you know, play in the NBA.
10:10And I feel like if that would have never happened, I wouldn't be in the position I'm in now.
10:13And for you as parents, I know how proud you must be of your son.
10:17But not just for what he does on the basketball court.
10:20He didn't wait until he turned pro to start giving back.
10:23He's already done so much in his community in Atlanta.
10:27Just what does that say about your son?
10:31It says how genuine of a person he is.
10:33He's a true lover of the community.
10:34He loves to give back and look out and help for as many kids as possible.
10:39It's just a genuine, true authenticity as a person.
10:42Mom?
10:42I feel the same way he does.
10:45Congratulations to all of you guys.
10:47Enjoy the ride.
10:50With the fifth pick in the 2026 NBA draft, the L.A. Clippers select Keaton Wagler from the University of
10:59Illinois.
11:03Keaton Wagler's mom, his dad, his sister, his brother, they all played basketball.
11:11This is a Hoops family here.
11:13And you can see them sharing this moment.
11:16But Wagler, he's had a tremendous rise from back in high school where he ranked outside the top 100 to
11:22now being a top five pick.
11:24And his career really took off at Illinois, maybe in no bigger way than he was when he was a
11:30part of that scoring party of freshmen that we saw on January 24th.
11:34He had 46.
11:35That was the most points by a freshman in Illinois history.
11:38Andrea, you've been high on him for a while.
11:40When did you know that he could be this top five pick?
11:43Well, I certainly knew it when he put up 46 at Purdue.
11:46I mean, that was clearly his coming out party and when he let everybody know just how talented he was.
11:51And in that game, it was the 46 points.
11:53But at the end of the game, he had a pick and pop situation that he read correctly and he
11:58got his teammate the ball.
11:59He had another pass to the corner to find his teammate for a three.
12:02So his ability to score and put up 46 points and then still have the IQ to make the right
12:08plays down the stretch, that really blew me away.
12:10Keaton, how did you go from being unranked out of high school to the number five pick in the NBA
12:17draft?
12:18I think it's just all the hard work that I put in and not worried about what anyone else said,
12:22just staying true to myself and not worrying about the rankings or anything like that.
12:25Just continue to work hard and prove myself to show that I can play at this level.
12:29And you told me that because of all that, you have played for the last couple of years with a
12:34chip on your shoulder because of how people overlooked you.
12:38Will you be wearing that same chip in the NBA?
12:41I will.
12:42It's something that I can't change my mindset with.
12:44I've got to continue to prove myself to show everyone that I belong here and can be one of the
12:48best players in this league.
12:49Mom and Dad, I want you to take a look at this photo of the little guy wearing the Superman.
12:55You see that guy?
12:57Cute, right?
12:58There he is.
12:59There he is.
12:59What are you most proud of, Mom, about that little guy?
13:06I'm just proud of him, you know, just following his dreams and just being a great person.
13:14I'm very happy for him.
13:17And, Dad, what did people overlook or maybe underestimate about that little guy and what he could become?
13:24Hey, he may have a baby face.
13:26He may look younger than most of these guys, but he's a killer on the court.
13:29We saw that from the day he was born.
13:31He's just a competitive kid.
13:33He's just wired that way.
13:34And I think just a lot of people overlook him because he's a little bit slight in build and a
13:38little bit younger looking in the face.
13:40Look forward to watching you, Keaton, in the NBA.
13:42Congratulations to all of you guys.
13:46With the sixth pick in the 2026 NBA draft, the Brooklyn Nets select Mikel Brown Jr.
13:55from the University of Louisville.
14:01Brooklyn fans thrilled here in Barclays Center.
14:04And Mikel Brown Jr., he was asked during the pre-draft process what he would tell his 10-year-old
14:11self.
14:11And he said that he would tell little Mikel that we're close to the dream and we're so proud of
14:16how far we've come.
14:17And this is that dream realized as he hears the commissioner call his name.
14:22He describes himself as obsessed with watching basketball and guards, Bobby, in particular.
14:27He did deal with a back injury during the season.
14:29He missed some time.
14:30But the talent is so clearly there.
14:32We saw it February 9th when he put up 45 against NC State.
14:36Ten three-pointers, which tied a school record here.
14:39Well, and I think the big thing is you go back to last summer with Team USA.
14:42He was the best player there.
14:44And the coaches, not staff, raved about him.
14:46The players on that team raved about him.
14:49And in the last five games at Louisville, 21 points, 45 from the field, and 42 percent from three.
14:56A big guard can do a little bit of everything.
14:59His dad, listen, we're talking about a lot of families.
15:02His dad, his dad.
15:03Mikel, you knew.
15:04You knew.
15:05Yeah, E!
15:07You knew that you were going to be emotional when you heard your name.
15:10Just can you describe to me what you're feeling right now?
15:14I can't even put it into words.
15:16I'm just full of excitement.
15:18You know, I mean, I'm home.
15:20I'm home.
15:21I'm calling this home now.
15:22So I'm super excited.
15:24Three months ago, you told me that your back felt so bad that you couldn't even get out of bed.
15:30And this dream, it was in doubt for you.
15:33So now that you're a first-round pick, what does it mean that you got through all of that adversity
15:39and you're here?
15:40It means the world.
15:42You know, you've got to face adversity at some point.
15:44At some point.
15:45And, you know, it hit right then and there.
15:47And, you know, I've got a great supporting cast, you know, great parents, great coaching staff, great team, great teammates.
15:55They helped me out through that process.
15:56And, you know, I feel better than ever now.
15:58So it's just surreal for me.
16:00And for you, Mom and Dad, Mikel said that because of the sacrifices that you guys made that he didn't
16:06even know you were making at the time,
16:08that he wouldn't even be here without the both of you.
16:12And he said, especially for you, Dad, that he wanted to share this moment with you.
16:17What does that mean to you?
16:19It means the world.
16:21I think when you're a father, what you start to realize is the moment that you're a kid or you
16:29have your kids that are born,
16:31you realize it's no longer about you.
16:33And it's everybody that's in the house.
16:35It's about them first.
16:37Then it comes back to you.
16:38And I think that's what makes men men, you know, the ability to make sacrifice and put others before them
16:45for the greater good.
16:47But so to see this moment, something that I've dreamed of even when I played.
16:54And I think the most high just knew, like, hey, I'm going to give it to someone that I know
16:58you care about more than yourself.
17:01And to give it to him and couldn't be a better person for it to happen to.
17:05So it's exciting and it's surreal.
17:08Well, Mikel, we are looking forward to watching you do your thing in this building.
17:12Like you said, welcome home.
17:14Welcome home.
17:15Congratulations.
17:19With the seventh pick in the 2026 NBA draft, the Sacramento Kings select Darius Acuff Jr.
17:28from the University of Arkansas.
17:32So Darius Acuff, the Bob Cousy point guard of the year, joins the fraternity of John Calipari guards in the
17:39NBA.
17:39And this is really full circle because he's been selected by the Sacramento Kings.
17:43His father played point guard at Eastern Kentucky.
17:46And his dad's coach, Scott Perry, who's now in the front office for Sacramento.
17:52And, I mean, if you look up the definition of an electrifying scorer, you're going to see that young man.
17:56Measured at 6'2 at the combine, already drawing comparisons to other greats of his stature.
18:02Alan Iverson, Doug Acuff, the next him.
18:05And, Jay, you've called him a walking bucket here.
18:08Well, he's a creator.
18:09Averaged 23 points over six assists.
18:12He was the only player in Division I to average over 20, over six assists, and shoot 44% from
18:19three.
18:20He is powerful, compact, and he's got great speed.
18:24Darius, you are blingin' out right now.
18:27Just what makes this moment so special to you?
18:31Very special.
18:32Just being here with him, seeing him smile, that's the best moment.
18:36And, Dad, just, you took him to the gym when he was just four years old.
18:41Just how did you know that he was born to play ball?
18:44I mean, it was the look in his eyes.
18:46You know, it was the look in his eyes when he first was born.
18:49His eyes lit up when you put the basketballs in his hands.
18:52So, I knew it was something brewing.
18:54I know you guys must be proud.
18:56Congratulations to all of you.
19:00With the eighth pick in the 2026 NBA draft, the Atlanta Hawks select Kingston Flemings
19:08from the University of Houston.
19:11Kingston Flemings, the first Houston freshman to earn All-America honors.
19:17He is headed to the Hawks.
19:19Remember, this deal was as a part of the Derrick Queen trade last year.
19:23But at the NBA level, defense is going to be his calling card.
19:27But shooting, it was a huge area of growth for him from high school to college.
19:30And, Andrea, his breakout day was once again that same day that we saw several freshmen
19:35have these huge scoring performances.
19:38January 24th, something was in the water.
19:40Yeah, something was going on there, and it definitely was for Kingston Flemings.
19:43It's fitting that his favorite player is Derrick Rose because Kingston Flemings
19:46is a dynamic point guard with a high motor.
19:49He shifts defenders with his handle.
19:51He has a quick first step, and he has bounce.
19:54He can finish on his mid-range jump shots.
19:56He has soft touch, and he can also take it all the way to the rim.
19:59He's a great facilitator.
20:01He brings so much, and he talks with a sense of urgency.
20:04He plays with it as well.
20:06They need additional guard talent in Atlanta, and they just got it
20:09because they don't have a lot of playmaking outside CJ McCollum.
20:13He's going to provide some of that.
20:15He's a willing passer.
20:16Kingston, tell me, as you're walking up to the stage
20:19to shake the commissioner's hand, just what thoughts go through your mind
20:23about the journey that got you here?
20:26Yeah, like you said, the journey.
20:27I mean, putting in work, you know, early mornings, late nights.
20:30You know, my dad and my mom are always working, so it feels great, you know,
20:34but I'm just ready to work, ready to work for Atlanta.
20:36Now, Mr. D., you had Kingston and his sister, Bella, who's also a star hooper.
20:42You had them write out goals.
20:44Just tell me why did you think that that was so important
20:48as you see him sitting here now as an NBA first-round draft pick?
20:52I mean, ultimately, it was never about what I wanted,
20:54and I think our job as parents is to just guide our kids on how to achieve their goals
21:00instead of placing our, like, thought process on them and what we want for them.
21:05So they write down their goals, and then our job is to just keep pushing them towards that.
21:10Mom, how proud of him are you right now?
21:12I'm so proud.
21:13I always tell Kingston, little Kingston would be even more proud
21:16of what he's accomplished with the goals that he set forth so many years ago,
21:20and now today has come to fruition.
21:23This was his ultimate dream.
21:24Congratulations to all of you.
21:27With the ninth pick in the 2026 NBA draft,
21:33the Dallas Mavericks select Moraes Johnson Jr.
21:36from the University of Michigan.
21:42Moraes Johnson Jr. reuniting here with his head coach, Dusty May.
21:49You can see the excitement there.
21:50He started in all 40 games for Michigan,
21:53and all of his averages jumped from his freshman year at Illinois to his sophomore season at Michigan,
21:58and he chose Michigan in part because of the development for the NBA.
22:02Dusty May kind of looking like a proud pops there.
22:05This is a little bit of a homecoming moment here for him.
22:08There's going to be some familiar faces as he makes this leap as well.
22:11But Moraes Johnson Jr., he had a double-double in the championship game against UConn,
22:15and Jay, you've called him one of the best front-court defenders in this draft.
22:20Yeah, maybe the best.
22:21I mean, he's a defensive weapon out on the floor.
22:24He's a powerful athlete that's relentless,
22:27and relentless is really hard to beat at any level.
22:30Shot 71% at the rim.
22:33He's 6'9", really strong,
22:36and he's got a 7'3 wingspan.
22:38So he can be a lob threat.
22:40He can be a screen and roll guy.
22:43He can operate out of the dunker spot.
22:46But as a defender, as a primary defender,
22:50his opponent shot 35% when he was the primary defender.
22:53He can switch on to a point guard,
22:55not just stay in front for a couple dribbles.
22:57He can guard that guy.
22:58You know, get steals, block shots,
23:00and when he takes the ball to the basket,
23:02he can absorb a bump and still punch it on you.
23:05Moraes, how much do you think your coach had a little bit to do with this pit?
23:09This is second day.
23:10I think he had a little bit, but not too much in this.
23:12But it's crazy, man.
23:14We've got work to do.
23:15Back to work.
23:15What does this moment mean to you?
23:17This moment means a lot to me, man.
23:20I've been thinking about this since I was a little kid.
23:22Dallas has always been a place I wanted to go,
23:25and it's insane that I'm actually going to Dallas.
23:28And, Dad, I can see what it means to you.
23:30Can you describe what you're feeling right now?
23:32Man, it's amazing.
23:33It's amazing.
23:34He worked hard for it, though.
23:36Real hard.
23:37And you told him back in sixth grade
23:39when he was doubting himself a little bit
23:40that you told him what he had to do to make his dreams come true.
23:44What was your message to him?
23:47Just work hard.
23:48Keep working.
23:49Outwork everybody.
23:50You will make it.
23:52And he was saying, like, ignore all the outside noise.
23:54You're going to catch up to him later.
23:55I remember that.
23:56So what do you think about following Coach May to Dallas now?
24:00Man, it's insane.
24:02The Michigan Mavs now.
24:05But I'm very grateful for this opportunity, man,
24:08and I'm excited to do it with my coach.
24:10We won together this past season.
24:12Looking forward to winning with him in the Mavs when I get there.
24:14Looking forward to seeing you in the NBA.
24:16Congratulations to you all.
24:17With the 10th pick in the 2026 NBA draft,
24:21the Milwaukee Bucks select Brayden Burries
24:24from the University of Arizona.
24:29After helping Arizona get to the Final Four,
24:32Brayden Burries is on his way to Milwaukee.
24:34And I'm half surprised, guys,
24:36that his family didn't show up here today
24:38with those famous T-shirts with his face on them
24:40that they wore all season long to his games,
24:44which I just love.
24:45But Burries, he led Arizona in scoring just over 16 a game.
24:49And his college coach, Tommy Lloyd,
24:50describes him as a laid-back, unassuming guy.
24:52And it makes sense because he listens to gospel music
24:55before games to calm him down.
24:57And, Bobby, you've called him the silent assassin.
24:59Well, I do.
25:00I mean, I got to sit down with him talking.
25:02He was a man of few words here.
25:03But the one thing I did learn is that he loved
25:06watching those Chicago Bulls teams back in the day of Tom Thibodeau.
25:10And now he's a stone throw away in Milwaukee here.
25:13And here is a big guard, 6'4", 215th, grab-and-go,
25:18off-and-to-rebounder here.
25:19He's got some toughness with him.
25:20What does a Burries hero backcourt start to look like?
25:24You've said that this game is bigger than you
25:27and that you have to have multiple whys to play it.
25:30Just what were some of the whys for you wanting this moment?
25:35Some of my whys would just say, like,
25:37I want to take care of my family.
25:39I want to inspire the younger generation that's next to come.
25:42And also I want to be something that's bigger than myself
25:45and just try to strive to be the best version of myself each and every day.
25:49And you've told your dad that this moment is ours.
25:51You said that both of your parents helped get you here.
25:55But you said, especially for your dad, this moment is ours.
25:57Why do you say that?
25:58Because, you know, he grew up playing basketball.
26:01Same with my mom.
26:02And I just want to make sure that they know that they can live through me
26:05and I just try to make them happy every single day.
26:08Mr. Bobby, what does it mean to you to hear him say that?
26:11I could be honest with you.
26:12That the moment belongs to both of you.
26:15That him being here belongs to both of you.
26:17Oh, man, it's an honor, man.
26:19He put a lot of hard work in, a lot of sacrifice.
26:22He could have went down the wrong way, not listened.
26:25He's a really respectful, great character.
26:27And we really appreciate him.
26:30Ms. Hanna, what kind of person are the Bucs getting in your son?
26:34Wow.
26:35Somebody with a lot of integrity, who is a hard worker, who is dedicated, honest,
26:41has great character, and he's going to give his all out there.
26:44Well, we look forward to watching him in the NBA.
26:46Congratulations to you all.
26:50With the 11th pick in the 2026 NBA draft,
26:53the Golden State Warriors select Yaxal Lendeborg from the University of Michigan.
27:02You know Yaxal as a national champion and the Big Ten Player of the Year.
27:08But Yaxal and the woman standing beside him today are one of the remarkable stories of the draft.
27:16And you can see the emotion here.
27:19But Yaxal credits his mother, Giselle, with saving his life when he was struggling in high school.
27:25And he told me that when he walks across the stage, he wants people to know that there were so
27:31many times he said that it was hard for me to believe in myself.
27:34And he was close to giving up.
27:37And this woman, Giselle, it was his mom, who used to call him every single draft night and ask him,
27:46Are you watching?
27:47Because someday this could be you.
27:49And someday this could be us.
27:52And Yaxal found out that his mom had appendix canceled last fall.
27:57And she's still in that fight.
27:58But he told me that this moment is for her.
28:02You can see that here.
28:04A tremendous story, Jay, and a tremendous player.
28:09He's an outstanding player.
28:11You know, he started his career in junior college at Arizona Western.
28:14He's a two-time Juco All-American.
28:16Went to UAB.
28:18And last year at UAB, there were two players that led their teams in scoring, rebounding, assist, steals, and blocks.
28:25It was Cooper Flagg at Duke and Yaxal Lindeborg at UAB.
28:29Then he goes to Michigan.
28:31And he was second in the nation in...
28:33He led the nation in plus-minus, second in win shares.
28:37He's a winner.
28:38And improved his three-point shooting.
28:40He made 67 threes this year.
28:42That's more than the prior two years combined.
28:45I can see you're both still feeling it.
28:48Just describe to me, Yaxal, what's going through your heart right now?
28:51Every emotion possible.
28:52You know, I don't deserve to be here right now.
28:56Didn't have the traditional path.
28:58You know, this is like...
28:59I'm truly, I'm really...
29:01I can't believe it.
29:02You deserve to be here.
29:04But I saw you share a long...
29:05We all saw you share a long, tearful hug with your mother when you heard your name announced.
29:10Just what was she saying to you?
29:12She was saying we did it.
29:14All the sacrifices that we've made, we finally accomplished it.
29:16You did it.
29:17But she's proud of me, and she's so excited.
29:20Just six years ago, you said you were kind of lost.
29:23You didn't see a future for yourself.
29:25Just how did that kid...
29:26How did that kid get here?
29:28That kid got here because of her.
29:30She pushed a dream, forced me to go out there and step into the world and become a man.
29:36You know, I had no choice but to go out there and do the best I could.
29:39So I vowed every day to be a better man, be a better person, and just do the best I
29:44can for her.
29:45So everything I do...
29:46And now your mom is facing a challenge of her own, battling cancer.
29:51Just how special is it to be sharing this moment with her?
29:55It means everything to me.
29:57That's the least I can do for her.
29:58You know, she's done so much for me.
30:00She's put her whole life on hold for my life.
30:02And I mean, I'm super proud of her for fighting so hard.
30:05And I'm glad we get to share this moment together.
30:07Ms. Giselle, how are you feeling right now?
30:09How are you doing?
30:11Right now I'm blessed.
30:12I feel so blessed.
30:13It's a dream come true for us, for Jaxelle.
30:17And I think he deserves it because he sacrificed a lot.
30:23How did you know that that kid who seemed lost, how did you know that this is who he could
30:29be?
30:31How did you know?
30:33Because I know he has very potential.
30:36He was an amazing kid.
30:40And I know he's going to be great.
30:43And he has a dream.
30:45It's a dream come true.
30:46You want to be NBA.
30:47He's the NBA right now.
30:49You deserve to be here.
30:51We wish you nothing but the best, Ms. Giselle.
30:54Congratulations to you both.
30:55With the 12th pick in the 2026 NBA draft, the Oklahoma City Thunders select Adai Mara from Zaragoza, Spain and
31:05the University of Michigan.
31:09Another national champion coming off the board and headed to the NBA.
31:13Our draft expert, Jeremy Wu, has called Mara the most skilled center in this draft.
31:20And his measurables at the combine, they were so impressive.
31:237'3", with a 9'9", standing reach.
31:277'6", wingspan.
31:28He's an excellent passer for his size, which makes sense because he says he studies Nikola Jokic's decision making.
31:36But defense, shot blocking, legs, that's his calling card.
31:40That is, and also he's a guy that you can really trust with the basketball.
31:44To go to the right place for dribble handoffs, excellent at reading cutters.
31:49Now that offense lends itself to it for as many traps as SGA sees.
31:55There's a lot of short roll action, a lot of balls get kicked back to the screener, and then you
32:00trust to go make a play.
32:01He can do that, and then very agile, great rim protector.
32:05He's a guy that can do a lot of things defensively to help you on the back end.
32:09Oh, I'm just looking at the measurables, and somebody else who's in the conference day that Oklahoma City struggled with,
32:15not at full strength last year, could he be someone that they've tried to task with stopping a Victor Wembenyama?
32:21Well, that's the obstacle in their way to the finals out of the Western Conference.
32:25I just, we know that you are an avid chef.
32:29That's what I'm told, anyway, as you're joined by your parents.
32:32Congratulations to you all.
32:34Oh, look at that.
32:35Adorable.
32:37I know that you're an avid chef.
32:39Just, you know, what's the recipe to turning a tall, skinny kid from Spain into a first-round draft pick?
32:47I think the big one, I would say, if I had to choose, is the consistency.
32:53That was the biggest play, the biggest thing that I had to do, being patient, to be from that little
33:02kid right there playing with the basket to just being selected.
33:05And you started playing pro ball in Spain when you were 16.
33:09Just how did that experience, plus winning a title at Michigan, how did that help prepare you for what's coming
33:15in the NBA?
33:16Everything.
33:17Like, if I, everything that I, that I've done during my, my life, since I was a kid, going to
33:25college, playing pro in Spain, all these things that really helped me to get where I'm at.
33:31So I'm very, I'm very happy that I did it, and I'm very happy that I have these two people
33:35here just helping me through all this process.
33:39Well, you're the third Michigan player selected already tonight, so I'm sure you guys are going to have a lot
33:44of fun tonight.
33:44Congratulations to all of you.
33:49With the 13th pick in the 2026 NBA draft, the Miami Heat select Nate Amon from the University of Tennessee.
34:00You can see him getting the call right here that Nate Amon is headed to the Milwaukee Bucks.
34:07Yes, the pick says Miami.
34:09He is headed to Milwaukee, the freshman forward out of Tennessee.
34:12He really left an impression with his size and his skill, and he's got room to grow, and I mean
34:17that both metaphorically and physically, because doctors say that his growth plates are still open.
34:22And Amon told R. Mark Spears that he believes he has the best upside, he said, in the draft, and
34:28he's not even scratched the surface of the player that he believes he can grow into in the NBA.
34:33His coach, Rick Barnes, said that Amon is everything you would want here in a player, Bobby.
34:38Well, and I think the biggest thing, too, is that he played hurt towards the end of the year and
34:42still averaged 7.5 free throw attempts in the last 10 games here, 2.3 assists.
34:48He is a big, and he's going to, as you said, he's going to develop into that body here, and
34:52he goes to a Milwaukee team that added Braden Burris.
34:56I had them 8 and 11 on my draft board here.
34:59Nate, first I want to ask you, when you got drafted, we saw you on the phone.
35:03Like, who were you talking to?
35:04I'm talking to the Milwaukee staff.
35:06Super excited to have me.
35:08I've met with those guys a couple of times, so just super excited.
35:11Now, you've said that no one gets to decide the type of player that you are, only you.
35:15Just when did you decide that you wanted to be an NBA first-round draft pick?
35:20I would say probably my, you know, when I first started playing basketball with my brothers at the park, just
35:26realizing how much the game means to me, but how much it brought us closer together.
35:30And this is your moment, I know, but I know that you also wanted to share it with your mom
35:35because of everything that you went through, just your difficult journey from Rwanda to the United States.
35:43It's just, what has your mom taught you about, you know, what was going to be necessary to get, to
35:50achieve something like this?
35:52Yeah, I can get emotional speaking about it, but, you know, she's always supported me, believed in me.
35:58And just seeing, like, her resilience and strength through it all just meant a lot, so.
36:02Ms. Kotelib, you, a take of a war in your home country.
36:06I'm told that you worked three nursing jobs to help the family.
36:10How did watching Nate walk across that stage, shaking the commissioner's hand, how did it make all of that worth
36:18it?
36:18Oh, I'm so happy.
36:20Hold your mic up for me.
36:21It makes me feel very happy.
36:25I think he's a very good kid.
36:27He did everything I told him to.
36:30We told him to.
36:32He listened, and he's a great kid.
36:36That's what makes it easy for me as a mom.
36:39Well, congratulations to all of you.
36:41Enjoy it.
36:42And with the 14th pick in the 2026 NBA draft, the Charlotte Hornets select Hannes Steinbach from Würzburg, Germany, and
36:55the University of Washington.
36:57Hannes followed that German pipeline to the University of Washington and is now headed to Charlotte.
37:04And he played professionally in Germany before coming to Washington.
37:08His father, as you can see, was actually teammates with Dirk Nowitzki in Germany.
37:12And Steinbach, he met Dirk.
37:14He interacted with him when he was a kid, hung around his dad's practices.
37:17And Steinbach, he told our Bobby Marks that he believes his rebounding can keep him in the NBA legs for
37:23the next decade.
37:24There's no doubt.
37:25And they need that in Charlotte.
37:26Look, this is a prolific offensive team.
37:29They can light it up with anybody.
37:30They need some front court depth.
37:33They need a guy like this that can go get the basketball.
37:36He's strong, very difficult to root out once he gets position.
37:40Caught hard-nosed is exactly what the front court needed in Charlotte to go with all of that shot-making
37:46ability.
37:47Well, we talk about the German lineage at the University of Washington.
37:50He relied a lot on Detlef Schrepp.
37:53That is the person that, as far as, took him under his wing here.
37:57Hannes, you were the first freshman since 2008 to lead the nation in rebounding.
38:02Other than being tall, which you are, just what are the Hornets getting in you that makes you such an
38:08elite rebounder?
38:10I think just my energy to always go to the ball, always crash the offensive ball, always want to finish
38:14the play on defense.
38:15And just my intuition and reading the glass.
38:18Now we have a message from a very special friend we want you to take a listen to.
38:24Hannes, congratulations, my man.
38:27Another kid from Würzburg in the league.
38:29Incredible.
38:30I've known you since you were born.
38:33I've followed your journey, and I'm super proud of you, how you handle everything.
38:37I enjoy this moment with your family.
38:40Speaking of, I'm so glad you didn't get your dad's athleticism in hands.
38:44Enjoy this moment.
38:46Congratulations.
38:48So, I've got to ask, sir, if he didn't get his skills from you, where did he get them from?
38:55From the mother.
38:56Okay.
38:58That makes sense.
38:59Congratulations to all of you.
39:00Congratulations.
39:04With the 15th pick in the 2026 NBA draft, the Chicago Bulls select Daylon Swain from the University of Texas.
39:15Daylon Swain played his first two years at Xavier before following his head coach, Sean Miller, to Texas, where he
39:21became the SEC Newcomer of the Year.
39:23He led Texas in scoring, in rebounds, assists, steals, and his first memories of the NBA are watching Russ, Katie,
39:30James Harden, and our guy Big Perk in Oklahoma City.
39:33And I do love this.
39:34He says that he uses his NIL money.
39:37You can see this is just so emotional for him.
39:41He used his NIL money to pay off his mom's college debt, which is just so incredibly special and a
39:47testament to who this young man is, Jay.
39:50Yeah, you mentioned, Malika, he led his team, Texas, in scoring, rebounding, assists, and steals.
39:56He was the only major conference player to do that.
39:59He averaged 17 points, just under eight rebounds, and just under four assists per game.
40:05Great versatility.
40:07He's got good skills and good athleticism, but most of his scoring is below the rim.
40:14But he can slash, get downhill, very good in transition, and he's tough.
40:19He's a really good cutter and crashes the glass.
40:24The one thing that he needs to improve upon is his three-point shooting consistency.
40:28Shot under 30% from free for his career.
40:32And I think he can improve his lateral quickness.
40:35With the 16th pick in the 2026 NBA draft, the Memphis Grizzlies select Bennett Sturtz from the University of Iowa.
40:48Bennett Sturtz has had such a unique rise to the NBA.
40:52He didn't receive any Division I scholarship offers, and now he's a first-round pick.
40:58And at Iowa, he led them to the Elite Eight this past year.
41:01That's the furthest they have gone in the NCAA tournament in 39 years.
41:05All smiles here for his family.
41:09And, Jay, you called Sturtz your top sleeper, maybe, in this draft.
41:12Yeah, he can really shoot it, Malika, and he's excellent in pick-and-roll situations.
41:17But that deep range, his footwork, he uses fakes really well, he uses deception.
41:22But his decision-making in pick-and-rolls, when he was in a pick-and-roll,
41:27he averaged 18 points per game out of those with scoring and assists that he was able to create.
41:34You know, there are certainly questions about the defensive profile.
41:37But I always thought back, Legs and I were talking about this before the draft started,
41:41I always thought back to, like, Kyle Korver.
41:43I remember when Korver came out of Creighton, you know, people were questioning his defense.
41:47What, he played 15 years in the league?
41:48Right.
41:49You know, when you can shoot it like Sturtz can shoot it, you're going to be okay.
41:52And we should mention here, our Sham Sharanya just reported that Memphis is trading Bennett Sturtz to the Oklahoma City
41:59Thunder here.
42:00With the 17th pick in the 2026 NBA draft, the Oklahoma City Thunders select Ibuka Okori from Stanford University.
42:11Wow.
42:12Ibuka Okori, the ACC scoring champion out of Stanford.
42:16We shared a flight here.
42:18He was lovely to chat with.
42:19This young man, he is a microwave scorer.
42:22Before deciding to go to Stanford, his final college choices were Harvard, Brown, and then, of course, the Cardinal.
42:30And originally, he picked Harvard before deciding that he was going to go to Stanford.
42:33But, Jay, his best game this season, probably February 7th, right, when he had 40 points against Georgia Tech?
42:39Yeah, nine freshmen at 40 in a game this year.
42:42I've never seen anything quite like that.
42:44But Ibuka Okori, you know, he set a freshman record for scoring average in the ACC at 23 a game.
42:50And he had eight 30-point games, including that 40-point game you mentioned against Georgia Tech, where he had
42:57seven threes.
42:58Seventh in the nation in scoring.
43:00Another young guard that's got tremendous speed and quickness.
43:04He can change pace.
43:06It's impossible to stay in front of him.
43:08With the 18th pick in the 2026 NBA draft, the Charlotte Hornets select Christian Anderson Jr. from Texas Tech University.
43:20Christian Anderson Jr., the Big 12 most improved player this season.
43:25And a big part of that, right, was his assists per game.
43:28They jumped from two to just over seven.
43:31Anderson recorded the most assists in a season in Texas Tech history.
43:34And he made the second most threes in a season in program history.
43:38And, Bobby, he doesn't lack confidence because he's the best shooter in this draft, according to himself.
43:43He's got some swagger in a good way here.
43:45He is part of the German national dual citizenship and played for Team Germany here, 42% from three.
43:52And, yes, when I met with him, he said, I am the best shooter in this draft.
43:56And now he goes to a Charlotte team that has LaMelo Ball and Con Knipple, certainly one of the best
44:03shooters in last year's class.
44:05Yeah, you mentioned the dual citizenship.
44:07His dad, Christian Sr., was born in Germany, played college basketball, and then Anderson Jr. briefly lived in Germany during
44:14his father's playing career.
44:15But he also has really good defensive instincts here, Jay.
44:18He does.
44:19And one of the things, I thought that Christian Anderson was the best pick-and-roll playmaker out of this
44:24college class last year.
44:26And your point, Malika, about his improvement, you know, he took over the point and played with J.T. Topham.
44:31With the 19th pick in the 2026 NBA draft, the Toronto Raptors select Alan Graves from Santa Clara University.
44:43Santa Clara has had several notable NBA players here recently.
44:49Jalen Williams, J-Dub, Brandon Pajemski, of course, Steve Nash, and now Alan Graves, the West Coast Conference Sixth Man
44:57of the Year.
44:57Coming off the bench, 31 of 35 games, the WCC Freshman of the Year.
45:02He earned first-team all WCC honors as well, Jay, and is now headed to Toronto.
45:08Yeah, another freshman.
45:09And Alan Graves kind of came out of nowhere playing for Herb Sendak at Santa Clara.
45:14You know, he's 6'7 or so, got a 7-foot wingspan.
45:17And he's physical, powerful, high IQ, really good offensive rebounder, but he's got versatility.
45:24He can post, and he's a good screener.
45:27He goes screener to scorer very well.
45:29Average about 12 points per game, almost three offensive rebounds per game.
45:34And he's a good open three-point shooter.
45:37But when he operates as a screener in a pick-and-roll, he can roll hard or pop.
45:41He plays angles really well.
45:42And he's got great hands on the defensive end.
45:45He gets a lot of deflections and a lot of steals.
45:48There's a lot to like about Alan Graves.
45:50That's the thing for me.
45:51He's got great anticipation on defense.
45:53He can be ahead of the play, and he can dictate.
45:55He can be aggressive.
45:56He has a high motor.
45:57But even if he finds himself a step behind, he's got quick hands and a quick reaction pick.
46:04With the 20th pick in the 2026 NBA Draft, the San Antonio Spurs select Jaden Quaintance from the University of
46:14Kentucky.
46:16Jaden Quaintance.
46:19With the 21st pick in the 2026 NBA Draft, the Detroit Pistons select Kareem Lopez from Hermosillo, Mexico,
46:28and the New Zealand Breakers of the NBL.
46:3419-year-old forward Kareem Lopez.
46:37This is a historic moment because Lopez is the first Mexican-born player to be drafted in the first round.
46:46He's from Hermosillo, and Lopez, he told Sports Illustrated that he wants to show people
46:52that come from the same situation that I come from, that it's possible.
46:56And really, he's done just that.
46:57And this is a family dream.
46:58His father played professionally in Mexico and for the Mexican national team.
47:02When Kareem was little, he would go to his dad's practices and dribble a ball around.
47:06And he's preparing for this.
47:08He's been preparing as a pro since he was 14 years old.
47:11When he left home, moved to Spain to play professionally before his most recent stop with the New Zealand Breakers,
47:17which is part of the Australian Professional League.
47:20Our international expert, Fran Fraschilla, has more.
47:24Fran, there's so much to like about this young man's game.
47:26I got to tell you, Zach Kleinman, the GM, the last three years has hit it.
47:31Coward, Edie, now this kid.
47:33With the 22nd pick in the 2026 NBA draft, the Philadelphia 76ers select LeBaron Filon Jr.
47:45from the University of Alabama.
47:52This is some of the most emotion we've seen tonight.
47:56And LeBaron Filon, he's from Mobile, Alabama, the area.
48:01He stayed close to home for college.
48:03He went through the draft process last season, and ultimately he decided to go back to school.
48:08And by all accounts, Bobby, this young man, he put in the work.
48:11He took all the feedback.
48:12He improved his outside shooting.
48:14He had that notable 35-point performance in the Sweet 16.
48:18And that fast pace that he played with at Alabama, Jay noted how fast it was, Dre.
48:22That's going to translate well to the NBA as he makes his walk to the state.
48:27Yeah, I mean, he played such a high-octane offense at Alabama.
48:30There was a ton of spacing.
48:31They were electric in transition.
48:33He's a quick decision maker.
48:35And we talk about his shot improving.
48:37He's never had to improve his handles.
48:39He has had that from the very beginning.
48:40The ball is on a string with LeBaron Filon.
48:43With the 23rd pick in the 2026 NBA Draft, the Atlanta Hawks select Zuby Ejiofor from St. John's University.
48:54With the 24th pick in the 2026 NBA Draft, the New York Knicks select Cameron Carr from Baylor University.
49:05The All-Big 12 team selection.
49:08He played his first two years of college at Tennessee before really coming into his own at Baylor.
49:13And he had a breakout season after transferring, averaging just under 19 points a game at Baylor.
49:19His measurables at the Combine, they really skyrocketed his draft stock.
49:22Andrea, how has he developed?
49:24Oh, incredibly.
49:25I mean, you talk about the Combine.
49:2638-inch standing vertical.
49:28That was second best.
49:2942-and-a-half max vertical.
49:31That was the best among guards.
49:32He also put up 30 points in the Combine scrimmage.
49:36And I talk about the scoring, but my favorite play, he gets a block on one end and then goes
49:40down and gets a transition layup dunk.
49:42Alley-oop on the other end.
49:44To me, he's an explosive athlete.
49:46He's got speed, bounce, body control.
49:49He runs the floor hard in transition.
49:51And he also has deep range, which opens up the floor for everything else and the rest of his teammates.
49:56He's got a really good-looking stroke from deep.
49:58He can go out to 23 to 25 feet.
50:00So he's not just an athlete.
50:02He's a lob threat.
50:03And with the 25th pick in the 2026 NBA draft, the Los Angeles Lakers select Sergio de la Rea from
50:13Valladolid, Spain, and the Valencia Basketball Club.
50:20Sergio de la Rea, the guard out of Spain who was the youngest player to win MVP of the Spanish
50:25Super Cup.
50:26And let's bring Fran back in here.
50:28Fran, we will see when he debuts in the NBA, but this is a guard with position.
50:32With the 26th pick in the 2026 NBA draft, the Denver Nuggets select Terrace Reed, Jr. from the University of
50:40Connecticut.
50:42Terrace Reed, Jr., a first-team All-Big East selection rebound.
50:49With the 27th pick in the 2026 NBA draft, the Boston Celtics select Chris Sunak, Jr. from the University of
50:59Houston.
51:02Chris's coach at Houston, Kelvin Sampson, had high praise for the freshman big.
51:08He said, quote, he's never had one bad ounce of body language.
51:13He's always one of the first ones in the gym and one of the last ones to leave.
51:16And wherever he's playing in the NBA, that team is going to be lucky to get him.
51:21Well, it's the Boston Celtics that are the lucky beneficiaries here.
51:24He studied players like Anthony Davis.
51:27He could be a 4 or a 5, although Houston seemed to use him as a little bit more of
51:30a rebounder than a shot blocker.
51:33Jay, how do you see that shaking out in the positionless NBA?
51:36I think he's got the potential to work out as a stretch 5 in the NBA.
51:41You know, he's 6, almost 6'11", and he's got really long arms.
51:457'5", wingspan, impacts the game on the glass.
51:48A really good defensive rebound.
51:50He grabs offensive rebounds, too.
51:52But he can change and block shots around the rim.
51:55He's a very good rim finisher.
51:57Shot about 74% at the rim.
52:00But he's a great combination of size, length, and athleticism.
52:04And he's mobile with his rebound.
52:06He just doesn't get the rebounds in his area.
52:08He can rebound out of his area.
52:09But he's got a high release on his shot.
52:12He's got a good mid-range touch that I think can stretch out the three-point range in time.
52:19With the 28th pick in the 2026 NBA draft, the Minnesota Timberwolves select Joshua Jefferson from Iowa State University.
52:31This is always one of my favorite parts of the NBA draft.
52:36When a young man who decides, you know what, I wasn't invited to the green room, but I still want
52:42to come, sit in the stands, take a chance, and wait to get my moment when they have that.
52:49And Joshua Jefferson, the senior forward out of Iowa State, he took that chance, Andrea, and now he gets his
52:56moment in person with the commissioner.
52:57Yeah, I absolutely love this.
52:59A smart move by Joshua Jefferson, which is very fitting because he made a ton of smart moves on the
53:05basketball court.
53:05He has a high IQ.
53:07He's skilled.
53:08He can make plays.
53:09He does a little bit of everything well to impact and change the game.
53:13Physical on his post-ups.
53:14He plays through contact.
53:15And he can handle the ball and pass it.
53:18There are so many great things about Joshua Jefferson that he's bringing to the next level.
53:22Yeah, he's an excellent passer.
53:23And with the 29th pick in the 2026 NBA draft, the Cleveland Cavaliers select Alex Karaban from the University of
53:34Connecticut.
53:36Alex Karaban won two national championships with UConn.
53:40His resume, it really is all about winning.
53:42With the 30th pick in the 2026 NBA draft, the Dallas Mavericks select Koa Pete from the University of Arizona.
