00:00the nba draft it's gonna sneak up on you and the markets are right now light but moving a bit

00:13cooper flag's price has stayed steady since we've last talked dylan harper his number is on the move

00:22and if you would have told me week over week the minus 2400 price on harper moved i would have said

00:31you know what probably did come down a little bit it more than doubled to minus a 5000 price now

00:39on harper to go second and here's the deal i think that with all of the chatter we are hearing

00:47i still believe san antonio would like to trade the pick if they make if the right move is out there

00:55but i now think regardless of how foolish i find the situation they've backed themselves into

01:04with castle and fox already on the roster if the spurs do not trade that pick jy they're gonna draft

01:11dylan harper yeah and and it's it's interesting you say that you know because they there is a talk

01:18in san antonio that they believe that the three of them could play together in a three guard back court

01:24i the reason why i think it's the case and i'm gonna keep going back this like i said last week

01:30or a week before it's ace bailey's measurables don't stack up to what they said at rockers

01:37they said the kid was 6 10 he's 6 7 and a half i think i mean and i don't think people understand

01:43two and a half inches is a huge model and it's also the fact that dylan harper i'm sorry uh ace bailey

01:48folks he averaged 1.4 assists per game and if you watch this guy was taking like kevin durant

01:58four away threes from the corner with three people on him and two guys open and he was still taking it

02:04so his shot selection although his offensive skill set is tremendous his measurables don't matter

02:12matter and then there's edgecombe which i probably said his name wrong the kid from the from baylor

02:16right he's the number four pick he's not high enough to go ahead of harper so it's almost like

02:23you now have a a solid one in cooper because of what three and four are a solid two tom and now

02:33the interesting thing is is the movement for the three pick you've seen uh their ace bailey's

02:39numbers start to come down to where it's almost an even money pick if he's the third pick overall

02:44yeah it really comes down to me for you know team need and again we're we're waiting on whether or

02:49not the trade will happen with the two pick right and again that's something that we may never know

02:54there's just some amount of speculation that it's just oh they may trade if they trade who does it go to

02:59and then who does that team need because i really think at this point you know just looking over some

03:04of the nba draft odds like there's no value in in one maybe there's value in two and by that i mean

03:11by taking ace bailey and a reverse of that would be taking dylan harper with the three pick that's

03:15assuming a trade does happen materialized which we don't know and and great i was just gonna say

03:20you and i actually were on the same page of something last week when we were talking about fading

03:24harper in the two market but it was betting him at three right here at 50 to one it's not it's now

03:30moved so much i think people i'm not i don't know how many people heard us say it last week one or two

03:36but like i now struggle to even go i have no interest in betting bailey or edgecombe to go second

03:41because i don't even know who it's gonna be i don't think it's clear at all it's we're we're talking

03:45about the theoretical materialization of a trade that we don't know if it even exists or not so but but

03:52but from a fundamental standpoint because there's so much uncertainty i think taking the shot on a

03:58harper who is now 29 to one not 50 to one as it was last week that's far more interesting at a three

04:03rather than going to two because the tiers of players opens up at that point i don't know if

04:09he's moved a lot but the one that's now becoming interesting to me three if philadelphia keeps the

04:14pick con can it's can it have the one because if you think about philadelphia they're set in the

04:19backcourt in regards to mccain and maxi we don't know how much longer we have paul george you have

04:24you know mb hopefully coming back they need a knockdown shooter to spread the floor

04:28call it can nipple at eight and a half to one should philadelphia keep the pick

04:32does make sense i think he fits what philadelphia needs more than someone like an ace bailey i feel for

04:38philly they're of the three teams you know one two three philly is the most likely to trade the pick

04:48right the world where san antonio trades the pick is the world where the story is not the pick the

04:54story is whoever they brought back philly maybe makes a big swing i also think there's a world that

05:03philly allows someone to trade up to three if somebody if brooklyn if even just a utah like we

05:12really wanted a top three pick i think that's all on the board
