00:00Bachelor star Peter Weber suffered a serious injury during production on the
00:04upcoming season of the ABC reality show. The 28-year-old, the third runner-up on
00:09Hannah Brown's season of The Bachelorette and the lead of the 2020 season,
00:13received 22 stitches to his face after suffering an accident while on location in Costa Rica.
00:19The star was reportedly on a golf course and cameras were not rolling when the
00:22incident occurred, but it seems like now filming is back up and running.
00:26Sources close to production told The Hollywood Reporter that filming has resumed
00:29his plan the following day, with cameras rolling as Weber set out on a date on Tuesday
00:33once his contestants arrived on location. Host Chris Harrison sent in a statement to THR,
00:38also assuring that all was OK.
00:40Peter suffered a freak accident. He got a cut on his head. He did get stitches,
00:44but he's 100 percent OK. And production is already back underway. He's still the dashing,
00:49handsome pilot we've all dreamed of. The Bachelor began production on the 2020 season
00:53in September, with a new season set to roll out January 6th on ABC.
