'Sonic the Hedgehog' is hitting the backs. Following the backlash over the design of the video game character, director Jeff Fowler said that the film will now open Feb. 14, 2020, a delay of three months from its original Nov. date.

00:25just right. The move comes after the release of the film's trailer in April
00:28and much of the internet reacted like this.
00:34The look of the classic video game character in the trailer was
00:37widely criticized online. This prompted Fowler and his team to rethink Sonic's
00:41character design to make him the best he can be. Ben Schwartz voices Sonic while
00:45James Marsden and Jim Carrey also star in live-action roles.
