00:00All right, Clint is out today, so it is not Dirty's Daily,
00:04and it looks like Yiner Diaz just left the yard.
00:07Let's go.
00:08It's just an absolute, I mean, as we're talking, Yiner.
00:12What he's out there for.
00:14That's right, man.
00:15Hopefully nobody tries to steal bases.
00:17Yeah, I was going to say, because he don't do that.
00:18He did throw one out his first game out now.
00:20Man, get out of here, man.
00:21I'm just telling you the truth.
00:22Hey, man, how you turn that home run into that?
00:26You don't want to start it.
00:27Hopefully nobody runs the base.
00:29I heard it in your voice.
00:32A dead clock is right twice a day.
00:33Yeah, that's why he's out there.
00:35That's exactly what he's out there for.
00:37Big shot, Yiner Diaz, as now the lead is 2-0 here in the fourth inning,
00:44giving Pete Lambert, who has gotten himself somehow through three innings
00:48without giving up runs with traffic and hard hit balls all over the place.
00:52I'm dueling Shane Bieber, though.
00:53It is right now.
00:55We will keep you updated on what's going on out there in Toronto.
00:592-0, a little day baseball as the Astros look to try to even this series.
01:08I do want to get to the AFC contenders.
01:11We've been doing this every day, and we're trying to run through them
01:15because there's a pretty decent amount.
01:19There are multiple teams in some divisions.
01:22There are three teams in the division that I think all realistically believe
01:28they're going to have an opportunity to compete for the playoffs.
01:32Not the Titans.
01:34Not teams like that.
01:35No.
01:35Not teams like, although I think they could, and I wouldn't be shocked off my ass.
01:39I'd be shocked off my ass if the Jets or the Dolphins did.
01:42But not like teams like that.
01:45Real bona fide teams that you can look at.
01:48And what do we have?
01:50The Patriots yesterday, and still, from most that I see on the text line,
01:54there were a couple who had some concerns.
01:57But still, most are Lord Cam Smith follows it up with back-to-back homers.
02:03Good Lord.
02:04Look at that, B. Scott.
02:05The Astros' bats are alive.
02:07We need to take some drinks.
02:08Good Lord.
02:09Three to nothing.
02:10And especially when an outfielder does it.
02:12Because Lord knows that outfield can't hit his way out of a damn pass.
02:17Just hit themselves out of one.
02:18I know what you're doing.
02:19I know what you're doing.
02:20Keep doing it.
02:20No, he's not doing it.
02:21No, he means it.
02:22I mean, you might want him to keep doing it.
02:24It all works.
02:25Reverse jinx action.
02:27I ain't going to lie to you.
02:28We'll get to this team.
02:29He needed that day off yesterday.
02:31That's what it was.
02:32When that son of a gun gets a hold of it.
02:35That sucker.
02:36That sucker.
02:37Cam Smith?
02:37Yeah.
02:38I'm telling you, man.
02:39Obviously, the person just hit it.
02:40He is the one with the star potential.
02:44Like, we're just waiting on it to come together.
02:46And it didn't come together last year.
02:47It hadn't been coming together yet this year.
02:49But that's what it's supposed to look like.
02:51He had a hell of a spring training, though, two years ago.
02:54It came together.
02:55That's why they put him on a team.
02:57And he had never really, you know, what a drop.
03:00Three nothing in the fourth inning.
03:01The Astros go back-to-back with Yiner Diaz and Cam Smith.
03:07Oh, my God.
03:08Okay.
03:08Taylor Tremel.
03:09Three in a row.
03:10Let's go, baby.
03:10Shut it down.
03:12The Bats are alive.
03:14Whoa.
03:15I mean, they keep getting further.
03:17I did not know.
03:19Was that Barry Bonds?
03:20That was Joe Carter.
03:21My goodness.
03:22Just start naming old Blue Jays.
03:24That was Devon White territory.
03:27That was the upper, upper, upper dick.
03:28That was Pat Borders territory.
03:31That was Carlos Delgado territory.
03:34Sorry.
03:34That is the Yordan comp, Carlos Delgado.
03:39Wow.
03:39He's far better than him, but wow.
03:40You know what I'm saying?
03:41Just like stylistic.
03:42Man, that was a bomb.
03:44Back to back to back.
03:46Who's coming up?
03:47Maybe we got a chance to go four in a row.
03:49Let's go.
03:50Who's next?
03:50I'm mad we didn't take these shots.
03:52Bryce can get one up out.
03:56Bryce hit the Hall of Fame building in Kansas City.
04:02That's a big boy homer.
04:04Hey, Shane, say, let me get out of this zone a little bit.
04:06All right.
04:07Again, four to nothing.
04:09Sorry.
04:09Good God.
04:10We have just been interrupted repeatedly.
04:13Taylor Trammell.
04:14Did you know?
04:14I'm sorry.
04:15Did you know Taylor Trammell had that in him?
04:18Not that.
04:18The hell is he doing in Sugar Land?
04:20Professional hitter, but I did not know he had that.
04:22No, I did not.
04:22God, dog.
04:24And you know what's funny?
04:25Him and Cam Smith were over there talking strategy just yesterday,
04:29and then they hit back-to-back home runs.
04:30Shout out to them, man.
04:31Wow.
04:32Okay.
04:32Hey, Taylor, I did not know you had that club in your bag.
04:35He pulled out the driver.
04:38I thought three-wood was the biggest he had in this.
04:41Wow.
04:41Okay.
04:42All right.
04:42Goodness gracious, Shane.
04:44Unless Bryce Matthews interrupts me again here,
04:49four to nothing Astros,
04:50they have gone back-to-back-to-back home runs.
04:53Yiner Diaz, Cam Smith, and now Taylor Trammell.
04:57Two outfield homers today.
04:58What power from that outfield.
05:01Glad to be wrong today.
05:01Wish we had brought shots.
05:03I'm glad we did.
05:05And the boss has made it very clear he wants to stop.
05:09All right.
05:10Here we go.
05:12Pittsburgh Steelers.
05:15Concern meter.
05:16Concern meter.
05:17AFC contender, concern meter.
05:19The Pittsburgh Steelers won the AFC North yesterday.
05:23And they are last year.
05:25Excuse me.
05:26Not yesterday.
05:26But they won the AFC North last year.
05:28Yesterday year.
05:29And then got demolished in the playoffs at home by your Houston Texans.
05:35What was that?
05:3530 to 6.
05:37It was just an ass kicking.
05:41CJ turned the ball over.
05:42It didn't matter.
05:43It did not matter.
05:44Nothing mattered.
05:44They just beat the hell out of them.
05:46And with that, they made some major changes, including at the top.
05:51Mike Tomlin, who had been the longest tenured coach there, he stepped down, and then they
06:00brought in Mike McCarthy, who was the former coach and a Pittsburgh native, former coach
06:04of Aaron Rodgers in Green Bay.
06:06With that, they also were able to bring back Aaron Rodgers on a one-year deal.
06:10So he is back there.
06:11They also brought back Michael Pittman Jr. to go with D.K. Metcalf, Rico Dattle, who had
06:17a, what, 1,200-yard season, I believe, with the Carolina Panthers last year.
06:22They bring him over.
06:22So they made some moves offensively and defensively.
06:27They went offensive tackle in that first round of the draft.
06:31Kind of a project, but he really started to rise up.
06:34And then receiver as well in the second round.
06:36So they have made some moves, 7, 1, 3, 5, 7, 2, 4, 6, 10, YouTube, and Twitch.
06:43Where is the Steelers in your concern meter?
06:47This one's going to be about a three for me.
06:50I'm going to go all the way down to a three.
06:52And that's just, honestly, with just a little bit of respect to the organization.
06:55I do like some of the moves that they've made.
06:58Yeah.
06:58But, I mean, let's be honest.
07:00Aaron Rodgers, the issue was that Aaron Rodgers was to it.
07:03Like, he couldn't outrun any of the Texans' defensive linemen.
07:07Like, it was just, like, once they had him dead to rights, he was really dead to rights.
07:11This is not even Aaron Rodgers from three or four years ago.
07:15So, yeah, it's the issue that they had last year.
07:19And he's just coming back.
07:21And they've added to their pieces in terms of weapons.
07:25Like, I like the Michael Pittman Jr. acquisition.
07:28So, I think they're better with their skill players.
07:31But I don't think that they're good enough to feel, like, threatened by them.
07:36And also, like, even just within their own division, can you really be that threatened or concerned about a team
07:41that you don't even think is top two in this division?
07:45Like, they seem firmly planted as the third-best team in their division behind the Baltimore Ravens and the Cincinnati
07:53Bengals, slightly better than the Cleveland Browns.
07:56But, like, does that scare you?
07:59You know, and you were mentioning this, too.
08:01It's not like the best teams in their division are, like, the Chiefs and the Chargers.
08:06I mean, the Bengals and the Ravens are.
08:08Or, like, it's the, you know, I guess.
08:10You got one team that hasn't made the playoffs in three years.
08:12They're both bounce-back type of teams.
08:13It's not the NFC North, right?
08:15It's also teams that need to prove themselves.
08:18And you believe in them more than you believe in the Steelers more than likely?
08:22Yeah, it's a three for me.
08:247-1-3-5-7-2-4-6-10.
08:28AFC concern meter.
08:29Pittsburgh Steelers, you ended their season last year at home.
08:34They've made the playoffs the last two years.
08:36Where is your concern meter?
08:38I'm at, like, a four.
08:423-4 in that range.
08:44I most definitely think this is a team that is beneath you.
08:49It is beneath you.
08:51They've got some.
08:53They feel like a team that feels an actual game right now.
08:59Yeah, I can see that.
09:00You know what I mean?
09:01Like, I still think T.J. Watt is a really good football player,
09:04but I don't think T.J. Watt is prime T.J. Watt.
09:07I think Cam Hayward, who was a second-team All-Pro last year,
09:14we'll see where he is.
09:15Alex Highsmith.
09:16I like Joey Porter Jr.
09:18He's pretty good.
09:19Jalen Ramsey is more named than game right now at Nickelback.
09:24They've got some guys.
09:25To me, DK is becoming a little bit more named than game.
09:30They brought in Dean.
09:31They brought in Jamel Dean as a cornerback.
09:34I like that move.
09:35So, I actually do like their defense.
09:37Because when you look at it, it's like Jalen Warren and Dattle as your backs.
09:41That's pretty good.
09:43Two guys that are interchangeable that can do things.
09:47And then DK Metcalf and Pittman Jr., I mean, that's not a bad one-two punch,
09:51but I just don't think.
09:53They give solid.
09:53I think they're worse at quarterback than the Texans are.
09:56And even this Texans team that is trying to – it feels like there's a potential
10:04of this Texans team to try to dumb down C.J. Stroud in terms of his play
10:10and the type of player he is.
10:12Like, hey, pull back the reins here.
10:15That's the tough part to swallow because it's like they're doing it on purpose
10:17with C.J. Stroud, whereas with Aaron Rodgers, it's just the fact that he's getting older.
10:22Like, I don't think that – just that the Texans have the quarterback advantage.
10:27I think the Steelers themselves, year by year, as long as they go with this Aaron Rodgers thing,
10:31have a lesser quarterback.
10:32Like, I think he's going to be a lesser version of himself this year than he even was.
10:37I think we start to see some Drew Aller action.
10:39I think we see Will Howard, Drew Aller.
10:41Can I change my answer from three to one?
10:43I think there's a potential.
10:46Like, this is definitely a team to me that drops.
10:49Their text line coming in.
10:51And, again, I'm not concerned about them whatsoever.
10:54He doesn't have the arm that he used to have.
10:57D.K. can't stay out of trouble.
10:58And we all know who Pittman Jr. is as a wide receiver.
11:01Zero concerns over the Steelers.
11:04Fair enough.
11:05No, it's fair.
11:05Fair enough.
11:06It is –
11:06I was trying to be nice to him, I guess, and give him a three.
11:09But it's really not that –
11:10I don't know really how much there is that they out Texans.
11:17They do better than the Texans.
11:19I just don't –
11:21I mean, maybe their skills overall, maybe –
11:24The one, two of D.K. and Pittman.
11:26Now, you know what?
11:26I wouldn't even go there for her.
11:28I mean, I like the Texans' tight end better than Pat Friermuth.
11:32I mean, I think the combination of Woody Marks and David Montgomery is probably –
11:38I would probably say maybe at least on par, if not a little bit better than Warren and Dowell.
11:42I mean, I don't know.
