18:05koonan camden mcclellan there on the eight in second third is balan on the 317 and the 26 has
18:11joined the party liam evans the usual signs going out on the boards keep fighting
18:22you can you must pass it's yours your fastest throughout the course of the race you'll see
18:28things like that balan seems to have woken up a little bit here sense of urgency since camden
18:34mcclellan found his way through coonan getting held up by a lapper and that allows mcclellan to
18:39get under the rear wheel of the ktm ahead of him mcclellan likes as part of the racetrack
18:52got some traction from somewhere can't force the issue here though
18:58oh he's gonna have to cut back here to the inside that's exactly what he does look at
19:03how he's drifting his way through that turn is he brave enough to do it again here at the bottom
19:06of the hill not quite valand now waiting for the mistake from either of these two
19:15back marker looking back thinking i can't go any tighter i've got no tracks in here
19:21nervous looks there as he tries to stay out of the way
19:25coonan hanging on for now but for how much longer there's that line again for camden mcclellan he's
19:31going to force his way up the inside he takes over the lead but will he lose that immediately
19:39mcclellan takes over the lead but here comes coonan
19:44not able to fight back mcclellan now leads on lap 10
19:54get a bit of rain bit of moisture bit of a game changer definitely a level playing field in that
19:59respect
20:00who has that throttle control who's prepared to risk more for those extra points and those race wins
20:07the podiums overall grand prix victories
20:12no mistakes keep going are they going to be famous last words
20:19because it's very easy to make a mistake around here given the tricky conditions
20:44for that
20:45eyeing up an opportunity can't quite you know what he needs to stay left there get out go the long
20:51way
20:51round it's lower on the crest anyway forced to move down the inside
20:59but taking the same line as coonan is not going to get the pass done on that part of the
21:05racetrack
21:09he thought race one was difficult with hard slick conditions and crowning rock all of a sudden with a
21:14little bit of moisture even more so but the rain stays off all of a sudden you get a perfect
21:21race track where there is perfect grip perfect traction
21:29but it's just waiting for that to kind of exist riders will feel when it's there though
21:34that's the crucial thing
21:38look at evans lurking there in the background where's uh for asna this was mcclellan on volant that was for
21:47second for that making that mistake
21:53then he got around the outside of coonan here to take over the lead as he dropped it to the
21:59inside
21:59still had work to do as he got out of here and over the crest
22:04coonan taking a nervous look to his left mcclellan took a nervous look to his right
22:08but he did get the pass done mcclellan continues to lead he just sets the fastest lap this time around
22:13153 439 on lap 11 nearly three seconds clear of these three riders now fighting over second place
22:29valand chasing a little bit more dirt to his outside through that sweeping left turn
22:34got good pace up the hill there didn't he gained a couple of bite lengths on the number 19 red
22:39bull ktm
22:48still no way through for the frenchman though
22:54just the confidence to drift gradually opening that throttle into and gradually increasing the rpm at the
23:04rear wheel nervous look for the land there wants to know exactly where evans is well the answer is about
23:12a bite length
23:17knows he can't afford to switch off or relax but why would he when he's got coonan
23:21right there ahead of him ever still favoring this outside just chasing a bit more reliability with the dirt
23:30on the bank works for him as well got some nice lines hasn't he there just a little bit wider
23:37a little
23:38bit tighter coming out of the turn here smoother drier then using that back to the outside
23:44always looking for drive at the rear wheel
23:54cleland continues to control the race he was two and a half seconds clear that that third split over
24:01the last monster energy jump top of the hill a few corners ago as we hit the line at the
24:06end of lap 12
24:10a gap 2.8 sasha kunin having a good lap sets his best lap last time around not too dissimilar
24:19to that of the
24:19race leader both were quicker than valant and evans here but now losing contact with the 19 on the ktm
24:32ferez 17 18 seconds further back he's going to finish on the podium second overall
24:38be sasha kunin two seconds 44 points ferez would be 41 with the win
24:46and a fifth mcclellan would be third overall with a seven one at the moment so we'll have two podium
24:53finishers from triumph and we will have kunin winning back to back grand prix for the first time this year
25:04take another look at the start shall we
25:09quick look at the start wet greasy mesh this time around but it didn't stop sasha kunin
25:21coming out of that first turn get a clearer picture of it here was it the 19 or the number
25:27one who got over the strike first just kunin
25:36here is simon langenfelder oh he's been confirmed simon langenfelder with the foxhole shot this time
25:41around again then two for the weekend for the defending champ he now finds himself in 12th place
25:47though gradually dropped down the order not feeling comfortable in these slicker conditions mcclellan leads
25:56still though with four and a half to go
26:08captain mcclellan here continues to lead the way three seconds clear at the moment one and a half further
26:16back we've got valand then evans same distance further back then we got ferez 16.7 adrift
26:24he's still eyeing up that podium four more passes and he's gonna win the grand prix but the problem
26:32is for ferez four more passes he's getting his way past kunin
26:39in fact where is he no he only needs two more passes doesn't he because uh 2018-16
26:52yeah three he would need
27:02traction just starting to come back to the riders be near perfect for mxgp race two following on from
27:08this race see the rock just bounce up from underneath the front wheel there of sasha kunin midway through
27:16the corner look like he had a bit of a stumble through there as well
27:25watch this here gets into the turn and from out of nowhere this rock just pops up
27:40mcclellan impressive in this race fastest lap of the race so far
27:48race one fastest lap was a 150.4 so the achieve is fastest lap is going to come in race

27:54one fifty point four six three not close to that with a uh a wet start to this second race
28:08here's valand oh kunin having a moment heard the fans in my headset giving it whoa whoa and all of

28:16sudden we swing around the corner and sasha kunin is on a tight rope once again i would only imagine
28:23legs off and just off to the side of the track there but he's managed to stay there in that
28:27second
28:27position but the lad now less than a second behind a bit of a moment for sasha kunin just a
28:39couple of
28:40corners ago we never caught it just heard the fans in the headset just saying you know the oohs and
28:46the
28:46r's and then as we panned around with ballast we just saw the 19 of kunin correcting himself getting his
28:54feet back on the pegs through the waves got pushed out to the outside at some point because that's where
29:01he was trying to re-emerge himself from had a couple of seconds on the frenchman now it was less
29:08than a
29:09second evans is not done yet no look 26 cool calm calculated this will get him 38 points so he'll
29:21leapfrog valand but he'll still need another pass to find his way onto the third step of the podium
29:28because that's camden mcclellan on 39 at the moment
29:37traffic not kind for the riders this weekend especially with a few twists and turns here and
29:42there ollie colman doing his best to stay out of the way he does so colmar in 20th place at
29:48the moment
29:50on the chambers ktm
29:54oh evers got a nice line there but he had a couple of stabs didn't he midway through
30:01this was the part of the racetrack where kunin we heard the use and the r's and all of a
30:04sudden
30:04see the line that these guys are on through that inside he came in from uh the other side of
30:10montevaki to get himself back on track montevaki for those who aren't here about 10 minute drive down the road
30:23but we are three laps to go kuna doing a great job put himself
30:30clear of this battle once again julius mikula is up to eight he's eased past janis raceless
30:37a moment ago so mikula now eight janice race this night carlis raceless 10 about three seconds
30:41further back we've got cars makers 11 langer fowler 12. zanke on the ducati is in 14 13.

31:09great display this time around though for camden mcclellan your race leader

31:24yesterday at high point in the us now here in montevaki mxgp
31:29gian perez a winner in race one evans forces his way down the inside finally makes their pass happen
31:36the land left just more than a handlebars width to the inside
31:43evans did the maths just said you know what i think i'll fit through there and he did
31:51embers now up in the third
31:55two laps to go
32:03can he do anything about sasha kunin well that gap is about 2.6 seconds at the moment
32:10probably not unless there's a slight error here and there there's gian perez perez is in that fifth
32:16position
32:19looks like he may have been down as well because he was a few positions further up then he ended
32:24up sort
32:24of going down to about 15th place you can tell from the the bullet style visorless helmet that he's got
32:31going on there not the trendiest look in the paddock but perez fighting hard to get himself back into
32:40fifth not sure if he knows he probably does that he's on the podium with that race win in the
32:46first
32:46outing so maybe now just trying to bring it home but he was absolutely stunning in race one
32:57he came from outside of the top five or six works his way to the lead by lap six
33:02by lap 18 was a comfortable winner over sasha kunin and simon langenfeld of it this time around
33:07it's camden mcclellan the other triumph number eight who leads away
33:15triumph will pick up 50 points in the manufacturer's chase as a result of that 25 in race one 25

33:22in race two mcclellan out of the final turn getting ready to take the one lap board

33:35he was the guest checkered flag waiver for mxgp race one earlier
33:44very much a part of the big rally scene wow tell you what just uh keep things a little bit
33:49straight to their camp backhand one way then the other had to kind of land with the brakes just to
33:54correct it evans with the fastest lap and he has got to within a one and a half seconds of

34:02we might have a little bit of belgian on belgian action on this final lap here between sasha kunin and
34:08liam evans there they are coming down here with the opposite direction kunin has room at the moment but
34:13he can't afford to switch off it's 1.3 now the gap
34:21more traffic here no problem though for mcclellan
34:26uphill onto this part of the circuit for the final time there is kunin senses a danger from behind
34:32behind looks like he's gapped evans maybe one and a half 1.6 now 2.7
34:43left is charged just a little too late did the nastan haswana rider
34:50but camden mcclellan
35:13and mcclellan will round out the final corner here head past pit lane
