00:27I've had a passion for drawing and painting ever since I was a child.
00:35When I was little, I dreamed of seeing myself in lots of bright, bold colours.
00:47Now he's in his mid-forties, and Mali itself has changed.
00:53Forests have been cut down. Temperatures are rising.
00:57The environment increasingly polluted, partly through emissions from traffic.
01:01The so-called Sot-Rama buses, with their advertisements, are one of Bamako's defining features.

01:20They absorb CO2 from car and factory emissions, purifying the air.
01:26These images have helped me understand a lot about climate change.
01:29And we are the generation that really has to deal with this.

01:38Next up, the poetry slammer.
01:40From day to night, nature pleurs the bad habits of humans,
01:47insensitive to its protection against the devastation floods.
01:51But nothing is lost.
01:54The hope remains for a sane environment.
01:58We are the people who have built this environment.
02:01And in spite of our own concessions, we have to look at its property.
02:07If we all use public transport, it will improve things.
02:12Everyone should leave their motorcycle or car at home and choose public transport instead.
02:17That's my main goal with this work.
02:20And it's definitely catching the attention of the younger generation.
02:26Then the minibus heads back into the city traffic with its powerful appeal to protect the environment.
02:36For the people who have been used in existence, where they have a bench built within the city.
02:37And the people who have been used to clans and the people who have been,
02:37They are the people who have been saying for the people who are living in a while.
02:37And what does that mean to the people who are living in the city?
