Rod Run Car Show 2009

I am known as a railfan, but this weekend was not a railfan weekend, this was a weekend dedicated to classic cars from over the past 8 decades. During my 1 hour lunch breaks at work one both Saturday & Sunday September 12th-13th, I rode down to the 26th Annual "Rod Run to the End of the World" car show event in Ocean Park, WA, located 10 minutes north of Long Beach of Sandridge Rd. In SW Washington's Long Beach Peninsula. Thousands of people walked around as hundreds of classic automobiles were lined up & being showcased. Like I said, this is the Car show of the Rod Run weekend, the main attraction is locals & tourists setting up alongside the highway with their coolers and chairs and watching traffic and classic cars as they pass along. Stores were packed Friday & Saturday as they loaded up on Ice, sodas, beer, milk & just about anything that can help last the weekend. This was a successful weekend and I hope I can catch out next years Rod Run. Until now, back to railfanning!!
