An open call is inviting LGBTQIA+ artists to create new work for a major exhibition at the Williamson Art Gallery. Four commissioned pieces will become part of the gallery’s permanent collection.

00:09Paul O'Grady Story, which opens at the Williamson Art Gallery on the 4th of December.
00:15Organisers are seeking proposals from LGBTQIA plus artists, exploring O'Grady's contribution
00:22to British culture, broadcasting, animal welfare, literacy and the performing arts.
00:26Four commissioned works will feature in the exhibition and join the Gallery's permanent collection.
00:32The wider programme will also include oral histories, library projects and heritage activities
00:38across Wirral during the exhibition, which runs into late 2027.
