00:00She was a little bit out of her mind, and so this was the time where I was like,
00:04hey, this is my baby girl now. Like, I didn't care. She didn't recognize me at first.
00:08And then she recognized other people, and I was like, I remember I went in the bathroom and cried.
00:12I was like, okay, wait, it's fine.
00:14I thought that mom was Carrie Underwood.
00:16Yeah, she did. She asked me, like, why is Carrie Underwood here?
00:19Like, was one of her questions. I was like, but she also was like, why is it raining apples outside?
00:23So we were a little like, okay.
00:25You know, that was a day that I thought I'd lost my daughter, and then God gave her back to
00:30me,
00:31and that's just the truth of the matter.
00:32When we heard that they got a pulse, that was the most sweetest words I'd ever heard.
00:37And so you think back to that moment and how tragic that was,
00:40how you go from the worst thing you could ever feel as a person to the best thing you could
00:44ever feel as a person.
00:46Everything kind of shifts in perspective, and then on top of it, not only I didn't care how God gave
00:51her to me,
00:52I just was so happy to have her, but how in the world did he give her back?
00:55And then he gave her back in a way that, like, she's succeeding, she's beautiful, she's kind, she's smart.
01:00I feel like I don't get to ask for anything else in life because I got the biggest blessing.
01:04And I just think it puts it into perspective, like, just the baseline of having a healthy child is really
01:09the biggest gift,
01:10and everything on top of that is like, wow, what in the world?
01:14How did I get so lucky?
01:15And I think that's where it shifts.
01:17You know, you start to think about what really matters, and obviously for her, she's strong.
01:21She's a fighter, and I think that she just needs to remember, like, out against all odds,
01:26this baby girl's fault to be here, and she's here.
01:29I don't remember anything from the accident, but, you know, seeing, like, everything I put my family through and everything
01:35was,
01:37like, I felt guilty.
01:38I was like, I'm so guilty.
01:39See, she would feel guilty.
01:40Like, how could you feel guilty?
01:42Yeah, it definitely, like, I feel like for everybody, like, our faith, like, we are a lot stronger in our
01:48faith and everything.
01:49It did.
01:49And in the end, I think such a negative experience affected us positively.
