Jamie Lynn Spears receives backlash on social media after it's revealed she will be competing on Dancing With The Stars.

00:17 As you can see, people have essentially been dragging her in every single way possible

00:20 since she announced that she's gonna appear on Dancing with the Stars.

00:22 Now, while obviously a lot of this backlash is coming from Britney Spears fans,

00:26 I will say at the very least Jamie Lynn Spears is trying to give back with her appearance on Dancing with the Stars.

00:32 She revealed on Good Morning America that she will be donating her weekly salary to those on strike with SAG-AFTRA and the WGA.

00:38 And as far as appearing on the show, Jamie Lynn Spears admitted that she didn't realize what a big commitment Dancing with the Stars is.

00:44 But she also mentioned she's ready to challenge herself.
