01:37what was said and what wasn't, right?
01:41And do you clarify the, because it seems like Gavin got very confused and it seems like that's going to
01:46be drama coming up, what you meant by spark?
01:48Let me clarify it right, right now.
01:51Because honestly, I will say, like, if someone told me they were losing my spark, I'd be pissed as hell.
01:54I know.
01:54And spark was such a, the wrong word to use.
01:57It really was.
01:58I'm like, ugh, but here's the thing.
02:01We had just moved in.
02:02I think, um, every relationship you have these milestones, but it doesn't mean that you're like, okay, let's get married
02:08tomorrow.
02:10But when I sat down with Kyle at that first, like, lunch that we had, like, very first scene that
02:15I, that I filmed, essentially, um, what I told him was that, listen, I've been in an 11-year relationship
02:22and got engaged.
02:23I've been in an eight-year relationship that didn't work out.
02:25I just lost my mom.
02:27Like, I just don't know that I feel that spark or that excitement.
02:30I'm, like, numb to this prospect of, like, things working out.
02:34I think it's a me issue, but that's, that's what I got to figure out.
02:38And so when it all of a sudden went through a five-step game of telephone and was, like, there's
02:46no spark in Kenny's relationship, I had spent, like, 10 minutes being, like, she's amazing inside and out.
02:51She's the most beautiful person I've ever met, like, in terms of, like, her personality and her spirit.
02:56And she's happy and, like, so when it all of a sudden got dumbed down to there's no spark in
03:03Kenny's relationship.
03:03And then also, hey, the future's murky.
03:07Oh, God.
03:08On my birthday.
03:09And then I'm on a rooftop and I'm, like, defending this.
03:12I'm, like, what is, what is happening here?
03:14It's a bad combination.
03:16How is the spark today, though?
03:17The spark today is phenomenal.
03:18It really is.
03:19And I think it's okay to not be certain, to be dealing with grief, to be working through certain stages
03:27of your life.
03:28And Whitney has been, like, I don't want to get emotional about it, but she has been, like, crazy supportive
03:34of that process.
03:36And it got us to a place where we are now that is, like, unbelievable.
03:40Unbelievable.
03:40And I love that you were, because also it's more of, like, an internal spark you just have of being
03:45afraid of life after you were dealing with a lot of stuff.
03:48It just, it just doesn't work out sometimes.

03:51And then, because it was kind of crazy, how did it feel being, having one of your best friends go,
03:57like, he's bored of you.
03:59That was tough.
04:00I actually, they kind of showed it, but I had to walk out.
04:03And I was, like, after coming off the roof where I felt like I was trying to say, guys, it
04:09was out of context, out of context.
04:10And I felt like I was just taking it on from everyone in the cast to then going and sitting
04:16down with my best friend that I thought was going to be, like, bro, I've seen it.
04:20I know what's going on with you guys.
04:21I know that you have a great relationship.
04:22We spent the whole summer together.
04:23We've traveled together with Gavin.
04:25Yeah.
04:27And for him to be, like, you're boring, basically, to Whitney, I kind of had to walk away.
04:35How are you and Gavin right now?
04:38Gavin and I right now are good.
04:40We are.
04:41Gavin is, like, he's one of those guys that just gets away with murder because he's just, like, he's just
04:46such a good, fun guy.
04:48He's a likable guy, yeah.
04:50But then he's, like, you know, he's, like, Sour Patch Kid.
04:54We're good.
04:55And, like, we'll get to a point later in the season where a lot kind of transpires between Gavin because
05:01I think it comes to a head.
05:02But I think there was, you know, he was exiting a relationship as I was really getting more serious about
05:08a relationship.
05:11And I think that just created some weird dynamics.
05:14Because he probably was like, oh, I want us to be out on the town together type of.
05:17Yeah.
05:18Like, listen.
05:19Yeah.
05:21There was a period of time where we were both single, right?
05:25Like, Gavin mentioned it in that scene at the bar with Lindsay where we were kind of like, she was
05:31coming at me and I was defending myself.
05:33And Gavin makes basically a f*** boy comment.
05:35And it's tough because, like I said, I've had an 11-year relationship, eight-year relationship.
05:41I was dating a girl for three years in high school.
05:42You know what I'm like?
05:43I've had these long-term relationships.
05:45But I don't think people fully understand.
05:49And it's not an excuse because I own that period of my life.
05:53But, like, when you lose the only person that, like, loves you unconditionally, like, you start to self-medicate in
06:00ways.
06:01And for me, it was like I was in Michigan during the week in the hospital.
06:04And then I'd come here on the weekends.
06:05And I was, like, kind of using intimacy and alcohol and things as ways to fill a void in that
06:14period that was really, really tough.
06:16And Gavin saw that for me firsthand.
06:20And he knew what it's like.
06:21And, like, he's got a family member that's currently dealing with some health issues.
06:28Yeah.
06:28I don't want to get too much into his business.
06:30But I would have thought in that moment, he would have been like, listen, this is what was going on.
06:38This isn't, like, his lifetime, you know, rap sheet.
06:41It was a six-month period when I was single.
06:45In a low point.
06:46In a low point.
06:46And honestly, the best thing that I did in that time frame was to tell Whitney, like, we were dating
06:53long distance once or twice a month kind of thing.
06:57Like, I'm not in a place to do this.

07:00And that saved our relationship.
07:01I swear it did.
07:02Yeah.
07:03Whitney has faced a lot of criticism for moving across the country for a man.
07:07And people think, like, oh, my God, that's crazy that she did that.
07:09What would you say to people who are still sort of critical of her for doing that?
07:12Follow love.
07:14Like, she has â I don't think people have seen behind closed doors what we've gone through over the year
07:23before we started filming, even though we took some time and came back together and it happened organically.
07:27And, like, you know, it was the right step for us.
07:30We spent the whole summer together.
07:32We were together nonstop.
07:35And at that point, you know, she was thinking about moving to the city when I first met her.
07:40And so it was, like, this feels very right for us.
07:45And it's, like, everyone's relationship is different, but she is following her heart and following what feels right in this
07:51relationship.
07:52And I felt the same way.
07:54And we were very excited about what was happening until, you know, we came across the cast.

08:02I feel it would also be weirder to get engaged before you live with someone.
08:07To have that nice experience.
08:09They put a poll on Watch What Happens, and it was, like, everyone was against it.
08:14Like, no, you've got to be engaged before moving across the country.
08:16I put a poll on my, like, social, and it was, like, 75% of people were, like, yeah, you
08:22have to live with somebody and know what's going on before you're, like, let's get married and do this.
08:28Like, there's steps to this.

08:47Like, I don't know that everyone knows that because I haven't really ever, like, felt that, felt that in terms

08:55So, she's just, like, the best person, and hopefully you guys get to meet her at some point.

09:04I can see her being such a good mother and such a good partner.

09:07Like, all this, like, I've been getting criticism online and, like, you know, to start this show, and, like, she

09:21And everyone kind of, like, you want that in life.
09:24And I love, too, in the most recent episode, the one tonight, that she really has her hand for the
09:31discovery.
09:32I feel like she kind of P.I.'s the P.I. by being able to find your father.
09:37You don't even see the half of it.
09:39Yeah.
09:40She, we were sitting there for hours, hours and hours.
09:45The P.I. gave us, now, the P.I. got us to where we needed to be because they gave
09:48us, like, the wife's name and phone numbers, and we had all this information.
09:54But I called two numbers, and neither one of the numbers from the P.I. worked.
09:57So then she goes into detective mode.
10:00She finds Debbie, because we had the name, found her on Facebook, and then starts, you know, I was like,
10:06oh, my God, that's him.
10:08Like, literally, you can kind of see it in the scene where I'm like, oh, my God, that's him.
10:12And she's messaging.
10:14No one's responding, but we're like, we need to get in here.
10:17And she goes on some sort of database person finder and, like, subscribes for 25 bucks.
10:24And then it gave us, like, seven more numbers.
10:27And we tried literally, like, five more numbers.
10:30None of them worked.
10:31And we were like, all right, this is getting crazy.
10:35But I was like, there's two more numbers left.
10:36Let's try the last two.
10:38The next one we tried, Debbie.
10:40Wow.
10:40And she's like, we've been looking for you.
10:43Oh, my God.
10:44That must have felt so, like, to hear that they were also looking for you at the same time.
10:48I was, like, I was in shock.
10:51In that moment, I was just, I didn't know how to respond.
10:54I was like, oh, my God, like, this is, I didn't know if they were kind of, like, I've got
11:00a new wife and a new life.
11:01And she doesn't even know about my other kids.
11:03Yeah.
11:03Or, like, we've been looking for you.
11:07Um, so it was, it was a really, really cool, um, experience.
11:12And, and next episode, um, gets even.
11:17Wow.
11:18I love that Whitney's in your corner for that whole experience.
11:20And in Whitney's corner is Rachel Lindsay, her bestie from Bachelor Nation, who also happens to be a massive Bravo
11:26fan.
11:27Like, she knows reality TV so well.
11:29Did she give you guys any advice getting into the experience of doing a Bravo show?
11:34She was basically, like, just be, be real, be yourself, and just know that there's going to be ups and
11:41downs, right?
11:42Um, her, Whitney and Rachel are very close because they were, like, best friends when they filmed The Bachelor.
11:49And she's a, she's a homie.
11:51She's just a really, really good girl.
11:53Whitney went to watch what happens and was her guest there.
11:56And that was, like, a cool, a cool dynamic.
11:59Um, like, if there is a season two, I'm secretly, like, campaigning to get Rachel Lindsay.

12:09Rachel, if there is a season two and we make it back, then we need, we need Rachel.

12:24Because she will take everyone to the fire.
12:26She is so great.
12:27And I, maybe she maybe needed to moderate the trolley.
12:31How did you feel?
12:32I think you and, Whitney kind of, like, left the building quickly when Danielle and Amanda started going at each
12:37other.
12:38How do you, Amanda and Danielle seem to just never mesh.
12:41What did you make of the whole situation between them and also group chat gossiping?
12:47I mean, we all do that.
12:48Yeah, listen, it's, it's, it's, it happens.
12:51Um, I was, like, I still debate whether or not it was the right thing to do to, like, defend
12:59Danielle at that minion brunch.
13:02Um, so, so when, when this dynamic was coming up again, I had kind of, like, been there, done that.
13:10I've seen this kind of, like, you know, um, I felt bad.
13:16I feel bad for Danielle sometimes.
13:17And, like, I've, I've seen the history, so I, I get some of it.
13:21But, you know, I feel like she kind of gets, you know, um, ganged up on.

13:27And, and especially when people are, like, coming at your relationship and they don't know what's really going on, um,
13:35it can be frustrating.
13:36It can be frustrating with all the judgment and people talking behind your back and, and, and putting it on
13:40camera and, and putting things out there that just aren't true because they want a storyline or they want camera
13:45time or they want, you know, to create drama.
13:49It's weird, too.
13:49I didn't know she was as close with Katie as Amanda is.

13:53I didn't, I learned that, too.

13:55Because right now it seems like Katie's, like, Amanda's bestie.

14:02We are seeing a much more activated Amanda on In the City versus what we saw in her performance on
14:08the Summer House reunion because you guys did film the reunion for In the City.
14:12How, what was Amanda's vibe and energy?
14:15Because leaving the studio with Kyle, she was all smiles.
14:18Was it a different energy that she brought to the In the City reunion versus Summer House?

15:26Um, and I straight up asked her, I said, I like to do this thing.

15:30What is the percent chances of, of like, you know, me and Whitney getting married?
15:34Or what's the percent chances of, of you guys getting back together?
15:38And she was like, zero.
15:43Oh, okay.

15:44I thought you were about to be like, 85.

15:47So she was like, zero.
15:48I, I, I feel like, I think Kyle is actually like a hopeless romantic and is like hopelessly in love

17:56Um, it's tricky because all the girls in the cast are, and a handful of guys are very close with

18:04And we felt like we'd been in this defense mode on our relationship.
18:08Um, her and Lexi were close and are close and we've done brunches and dinners and stuff with Lexi and

18:14Um, yeah, which is, I honestly, I think Andrea is like, I, I regret part of the rooftop scene because
18:20I think Andrea has like the biggest heart of anybody.
18:23He's a sweet boy.

18:24He genuinely is a good person, but yeah, I think if I had to say who's she closest with out
18:29of everyone, it's, it's probably, probably Lexi.
