00:30on stage. Wilde hoped it would fly under the radar, but that turned out to be a mission impossible.
00:37A couple months later, I had the chance. I met Tom Cruise, and he was like,
00:41hi, I'm Tom. F***ed up. What happened to you in Vegas? And I was like, no!

00:53In August of that year, Wilde slammed Sudeikis' tactics as outrageous and aggressive in court
00:59documents, and she addressed the vicious move to Variety, saying,

01:08relationship. Well, four years later, Wilde is now able to laugh about it, what she called
01:12an incredibly traumatizing moment. As for whether she believes the divorce papers attack was
01:17purposeful, Wilde told host Alex Cooper that she needs to believe it wasn't in order to
01:23continue co-parenting with her ex, Jason Sudeikis. She said,

01:37about that high-stress moment, while also taking a swipe at her ex's legal team, quipping,
01:42lawyers can be effed up and do super effed up things. The former Hollywood power couple were
01:48together from 2011 to 2020, and they have two kids together, son Otis, age 12, and daughter Daisy,
01:56who is nine. Wilde also revealed the tense conversation that was the final straw in their
02:00relationship back in March of 2020, on her 36th birthday.
02:05Jason and I had been having a rough time for a while. Like, we had a real bumpy, bumpy ride,
02:11and we were driving home for my birthday party my friends had had, and I said, did you give me

02:24Those four words were the nail in the coffin. I don't know you. Wilde admitted Sudeikis wasn't
02:29wrong. The two had grown apart, despite nearly a decade together and seven years of engagement.
