00:14Sperry, Fry, Hunter, and G.H. Bass, and debuted the brands together at its new Soho store,
00:19which opened in early June. Abercrombie's managing director for the Americas said the
00:24move targets both customer acquisition and retention. Analyst Janine Stickter of BTIG said
00:30the strategy mirrors rival Aritzia, which has long stocked external footwear and posted 35%
00:36sales growth in its most recent fiscal year. Abercrombie's namesake brand saw sales fall
00:41more than 1% and comparable sales drop 7% between fiscal 2024 and fiscal 2025.
