00:00I wanted to talk to you about something that happened to me earlier this year which was
00:05gut-wrenching and really really shite and difficult to deal with. I was scammed out of
00:12a life-changing amount of money and I've been thinking about this a lot since and some of the
00:22reasons why I haven't spoken about it. There's a lot of shame, there's embarrassment, there's
00:28disappointment, there's general like privacy, it's you know everyone's got personal finance and
00:34everyone's got their own preferences on how open they want to be but I do understand how common this
00:41is now and the more and more I thought about it the more selfish I thought it was not to
00:47share this
00:49and I'll walk you through what happened because they are getting so so sophisticated now and the
00:56figures are frightening. I think over the start of this year alone two million people in the UK have
01:06reported fraud cases. If this video can help just raise awareness a little bit and maybe help you
01:14think twice before making any sort of financial move that you feel pressured to or don't feel quite
