00:11The Odyssey is a massive story that's a really exciting challenge to take on.
00:17This is definitely the biggest movie that I've ever done in my career.
00:21It feels like we've made six or seven movies, and in a sense we did.
00:25Every single kind of chapter of this adventure was at a different location that posed a different challenge.
00:32You just know that the locations when you're telling a story like this are gonna be like characters unto themselves,
00:37so they have to be extra special.
00:38And so we found ourselves in these really amazing places.
00:44There are parts of the world that I don't think I would even have ever seen or known about
00:49had it not been for this experience.
00:51As an actress, it's such a luxury to be in such an immersive space.
00:55I don't have to pretend like I'm on a boat. I'm on the boat, you know, like we are at
00:59sea.
01:00What a gift, you know?
01:02There's a certain level of information that you learn when something is real.
01:06So when you go to these places, you just feel it, and it just adds another layer to what it
01:12is that you're trying to express.
01:14Action!
01:15One of the things I like about shooting on location is we're moving countries every couple of weeks.
01:21So it gives you this incredible momentum.
01:24The issue on this film is that we're shooting in extraordinary places that were hard to get to, hard to
01:29shoot in.
01:29You know, normally if you're doing a Hollywood movie, the base camp is 10 seconds away from the set.
01:35When you're shooting a Chris Noder movie, it's like, that's a 45-minute hike in sandals.
01:40They're full-constumed.
01:42I mean, every location we went to, I would get there and I'd just start laughing.
01:46They're like, who thought you should shoot a movie here?
01:50You know, we're shooting in Nestor's Cave in Greece.
01:53It's this incredible place, but nobody's ever tried to shoot a film up there.
01:57And so to see the rigging that they did to basically turn it into a natural soundstage,
02:02I don't know any other director who would try it.
02:06There was no location that was straightforward and easy,
02:10but all of those locations made sense for the story, really.
02:14Like, it wouldn't be the film that it is without going there and doing it for real.
02:19The scale was so, so big.
02:23I think what's so special about Chris's movies is that he goes the extra distance to make it feel authentic
02:28for us on set,
02:29which then makes it feel more authentic for the audience in the theater.
02:33I mean, there's a reason we call these things odysseys.
02:36This is the odyssey, and it really is a journey through all of these incredible places
02:41and hopefully something that just really profoundly entertains and moves people.
02:46As a fan, I'm so excited.
02:48I cannot wait to sit in that IMAX theater and completely be lost in this world that he's created.
