00:00Good afternoon everyone. Welcome, welcome. Thank you so much for being here.
00:05Can you guys hear me? So my name is Guillaume Payome, the head of AI transformation for Webidia Elephant.
00:12Who here hasn't heard or knows Webidia? Excellent. Excellent. Thank you so much for being here.
00:19So for those of you who don't know us, Webidia Elephant is a global media technology and entertainment company.
00:25We reach 380 million people every month through our different social platforms, media brands, and creator ecosystem.
00:33Media and publishing is where we are coming from. Over the past 19 years, we launched more than 60 different
00:38brands in 15 different countries,
00:40which makes us today one of the leading brands for young audiences, leading brands in the world.
00:46What makes us a little bit unique at Webidia is that we combine premium production, media, influence, communities, events, tech,
00:55data, and now AI under one single roof.
00:59And over the past year, we actually significantly invested in AI.
01:03We are trying to explore how these technologies help us create content differently, can make us more efficient,
01:09and that but not need can help us build entirely new experiences for audiences and creators.
01:14One of the major milestones for us was last month when we announced a strategic partnership with Google around AI.
01:21But today, we are not here to talk about strategy.
01:24We are here to talk about how AI is transforming the creation process and the type of new content that
01:32can be built with AI.
01:34Specifically, we are here to talk about two things, two new initiatives for us.
01:39The first one being our AI creative studio called Human After All, and the second one is our creator program.
01:47So, to help us discuss about it today, please welcome with me, Mathieu Blanc, AI specialist at Google Cloud.
01:56Mathieu, please come on stage.
01:58Pauline Buter, director of creative and development at Webidia & Default.
02:03Welcome Pauline, Jason Day, head of EME at Mooma AI.
02:07Welcome, Jason.
02:09And last but not least, Denae Guilleux, sales director for Eleven Labs in France.
02:14Welcome all.
02:16Welcome, welcome.
02:17So happy to have you guys here with us today.
02:20I know the mic.
02:21Okay, I'm going to try to be better with this.
02:24So, Mathieu, welcome.
02:26Let's go back to the partnership I briefly mentioned, you know, between Webidia and Google, Webidia Elephant and Google.
02:33What does it involve?
02:34Yes, indeed, we announced an enhanced partnership between Webidia and Google Cloud last month, which rely on three main pillars.
02:42First one is data modernization through tools like BigQuery, HelloWebidia, to scale operations mostly and be more efficient in daily
02:52work.
02:52The second pillar, very important, is agentic AI and especially productivity of collaborators of Webidia through a tool called Gemini
03:01Enterprise that will be probably deployed on multiple countries, give super power to Webidia collaborators and allow them to be
03:09super efficient in their daily work.
03:10And last but very not least, of course, is AI studio, Human After All, where we are collaborating to bring
03:16the best of gen media to the creative and talent of Webidia.
03:20Yeah, thank you, Mathieu.
03:21Yeah, because, Pauline, so one of the, I'm going to, okay, I'm going to try to think, you know, the
03:26people speaking with the PowerPoint being displayed, but one domain that's actually being impacted by AI, it's really like creativity
03:34and content production.
03:35So, can you tell us a bit more about, you know, what the announcements we're discussing today, what is this
03:40creative studio and what we're going to be doing with it?
03:42Yes, so to me, AI for creativity, it's truly fascinating, you know, I think it's really opening a world of
03:49new creative opportunities, possibilities.
03:52And at Webidia Elephant, we really want to truly embrace these new opportunities and not just watch it happen.
03:57And that's exactly why we are launching Human After All at the moment.
04:00And to be very concrete, Human After All is built on three key pillars.
04:05So, the first one is really cutting-edge gen AI and adjuncting tools that we are deploying for our internal
04:11teams.
04:12Secondly, it's a physical space, a real studio that we are building in Le Valois at the opposite side of
04:18Paris.
04:19And thirdly, third, it's this creator program, which is an acceleration and experimentation program designed for really a unique set
04:31of creative ecosystem, namely its creators, content creators and their teams, producers, brands, alongside with our internal tech and creative
04:44talents.
04:44And, of course, we are building this program with the partners on the stage today.
04:50And the AI Creative Studio has a name that's actually a bit thought-provoking, you know, Human After All.
04:57Can you explain to us why did you decide to call it that way?
05:00Yes, thank you for asking.
05:01It's obviously super intentional.
05:05When we see it at the moment, I think what the audiences are looking for the most is authenticity.
05:13It's exactly what is driving the success of content creators for the moment.
05:17And, obviously, this authenticity is by nature human.
05:21So, with this name, we really want to say loud and clear that we are putting the human vision, the
05:27human creativity at the core of everything we do.
05:30The tools that we are going to see are just mind-blowing.
05:33And, for us, we have really a deep conviction, which is that AI and technology in general without a vision
05:40is just noise.
05:41So, that's why this name.
05:42And, obviously, for those who know Daft Punk, this is also a nod to the French touch.
05:48And, by partnering with these, you know, tech stars on this stage, we really want to make the French creativity
05:53and the French savoir-faire shine globally.
05:57Excellent. And, so, how does concretely Google Luma Eleven Labs, I know you guys are going to tell us as
06:03well, you know, how you did it, but how are they going to support the creators that are part of
06:06this AI creator program?
06:07I think I will then let them talk about it, but it's really, it's going to be a mix of
06:12workshops for this, again, this creative ecosystems, but also office hours and stuff.
06:17And, I will let them maybe go a bit deeper on this program.
06:20It's going to be a three-month program, very exclusive.
06:23Excellent. So, Mathieu Pauline was talking about how, like, AI is actually transforming content creation.
06:28Google has announced a set of incredible tools.
06:31And, so, how does you see AI transforming not only creation, but the creative process itself?
06:37So, of course, this is very early, and we are all learning by doing in terms of collaborations between tech
06:43people like us and creative people everywhere in the cinema industry, with web media, with the music industry.
06:49We see these tools, and we are very aligned with the visions of web media, as an assistance to creative
06:55people.
06:55And we see them used in three main ways.
06:58First one is ideations, how people to create a lot of variations very quickly and don't have the luxury anymore
07:06to not use the ideation phase.
07:10So, we see people like Donald Glover, that might be known as Childish Combino, for people who like better music,
07:17using a lot of tools for ideations to connect ideas together.
07:21Or, in France, a rapper like Oxmo Puccino is doing a lot, is using a lot of Xamena for ideations.
07:27The other thing that we see is lowering barrier to entry, and allow creative people, talent, to be more ambitious.
07:36And we see, we have collaborations with creative people using AI to use AI as a graphics tool, or as
07:46a way to modify real shots.
07:48We have a short movie called Ancestral, that you can see on YouTube, that was done with a production studio
07:56from Darren Aronofsky.
07:59And so, this is very important.
08:01And last but not least, but this is more in the future, is new medium.
08:04So, using AI as the main medium, and creating new kind of, maybe, interactive media with these tools.
08:12Yeah, and one of the latest technology you announced is Gemini Omni.
08:17And actually, have you seen the capabilities of Gemini Omni in the room?
08:22So, we have a small video to show you guys, so that you'll get it better.
08:27So, up.
09:22Excellent.
09:23That's, I mean, it's, my mind is blown every time I see that video.
09:26So, now that's, I'm super excited about it.
09:28But I was wondering something.
09:29Also, when we talk about AI nowadays, we talk a lot about agents.
09:32You know, everyone talks about agents everywhere.
09:34So, in terms of, like, agentic AI, what are the key trends we should be looking at, you know, for
09:39this year and next year?
09:40This is a heavy question.
09:43How many hours do I have?
09:44Two?
09:44Three?
09:45Okay.
09:47Of course, it's very hard to make predictions, especially about the future.
09:51But if I can make a negative guess, we are out of this test and error way to use AI
09:58or just prompt an answer.
10:00We are now in the agentic era.
10:02And what we are seeing more and more, and we will see more and more in the future in 2026
10:07and 2027, is full automations and asking this multi-agent architecture some goals, some end goals, and letting this agent
10:19do the work for us, finding out which tools to call, how to validate the productions, and so on and
10:27so forth.
10:27So, we will see cross-collaborations between agents, and we will see more and more goal-based agents and super
10:36-specific agents on specific niche being deployed by a lot of incumbents in the ecosystem.
10:44Yeah, excellent, excellent.
10:46So, now, you know, we're going to switch to another of our dear partners.
10:49So, Linaik, you work with Eleven Labs.
10:52Yeah.
10:52Welcome.
10:53So, let me try to synchronize again the PowerPoint.
10:56So, people know Eleven Labs mainly, you know, from the audio capabilities and the technologies you deployed in the audio
11:01space.
11:02It's an essential component to content creation.
11:05I mean, listen to any type of video with the poor audio, and you realize that, you know, you don't
11:09connect to the content.
11:10Can you introduce us to the company, what you are doing now?
11:15You know, what are the big things that happened recently for you guys?
11:17Yeah, of course.
11:18So, yeah, you're right.
11:19Audio is at the heart of what we do at Eleven Labs.
11:22Basically, we are our first and foremost research company dedicated to Audio AI, and we train our AI models to
11:30be able to replicate other nuances of human expression, such as emotion, intonation, for example.
11:37We are already well-known for our text-to-speech and voice-cloning products, but we actually cover the full
11:43spectrum of Audio AI with, for example,
11:46best-in-class transcription models, speech-to-speech from any voice to another, AI dubbing, which enables to preserve the
11:54original voice identity,
11:56and we also enable our user to create custom music and sound effects on our platform via our prompt system.
12:03And on top of that, we also deployed a full-stack agent platform where Tim can build an AI agent,
12:11which is able to automate customer relationships,
12:14for example, with AI agents that not only listen, but are also able to be contextually aware, to take actions,
12:22to resonate, and to answer in real time to users.
12:26So, basically, from a movie maker to a game developer or a team that wants to automate human interaction, we
12:34build, like, any audio experience.
12:36Excellent. Yeah. So, we're all going to have all the AI assistants that we can talk to.
12:40But I was wondering, like, in terms of the AI creator program, what type of resources and support do you
12:45bring to the participants of the program?
12:47So, it's a little bit like the question I asked Pauline earlier.
12:49Yeah. So, during the program, we are going to organize workshops with a specific pool of talents.
12:57That's going to be a 50-50 between demos and hands-on practices.
13:02And the goal during this program and these workshops is to make the talents fully autonomous on our product,
13:08so they can, like, reach their full creativity potential with AI.
13:15And during this project, we will also be able to share some feedback, to provide best practices,
13:22and the talents will be able to show us, like, what they are building.
13:25So, at the end of the program, the way the talents use Eleven Labs, what products they are using,
13:31their feedback about the product will fit directly on how Webedia is building the human after-world studio.
13:38So, at the end of the program, the full Webedia team has access to the right suite of products brought
13:43by Eleven Labs via the platform.
13:45Yeah. Excellent. And so, yeah, Pauline, you know, one of the key issues for Creative is to stay up-to
13:49-date with the trends
13:50and the, you know, model releases and the technology.
13:53I mean, it feels like every week there is something new, and so pretty much a full-time job to
13:57stay up-to-date.
13:58How does Webedia Elephant, you know, plan on, like, supporting the creators as well?
14:03So, there's the technology partners, but there's also everything that the Webedia team will provide to the creators.
14:09Yeah, I think it's really the paradox of our time, right?
14:11Because the tech is moving faster than the creative process, and sometimes it can really feel, like, paralyzing.
14:18And the truth is that creators and artists have very different relationships with AI.
14:24Some are super curious, super confident, you know, they are early adopters and eager to test everything.
14:31Others are, let's say, more skeptical, and sometimes they are just overwhelmed.
14:36So, really, what we want to do with this creator program and with our partners is not only to teach
14:41on, really, a specific product or a specific tool,
14:44but it's also to help them master innovation in a way that, you know, is relevant for each individual.
14:50So, we really want to build tech confidence, and that's why, alongside, you know, our heavy program of workshops,
14:57we will have office hours where each artist or creator can discuss a very specific project or dops, you know,
15:05in a very one-on-one discussion and conversation.
15:08And, again, that's why this physical space and this physical studio is key in our Human After All program,
15:14because we really want to spark discussion, conversations, and have these one-on-one discussions.
15:20And in terms of, like, demos, so, Léna Hig, you know, a picture, or maybe in your case, like, a
15:24sound, you know,
15:25is worth a thousand words. So, what it will actually look like, and I think you prepared a video for
15:29us.
15:30Yeah.
15:30So, let me see if I can play it.
15:34If...
15:35Hello, everyone. I'm Léna Hig, head of commercial friends at Eleven Labs.
15:39Little confession. What you're hearing right now, that's not me. It's my voice clone.
15:44Übrigens, ich spreche auch Deutsch.
15:46Tambien puedo hablar en Espanol.
15:49Over 30 languages, just like that.
15:52At Eleven Labs, we've built the most powerful AI audio platform in the world.
15:56We clone your voice, dub your videos in 32 languages, bring your podcast to life, generate music.
16:02By the way that track in the background, I made it with Eleven Labs.
16:05My team calls it a work in progress. I prefer to call it experimental.
16:09Alongside Webidia, our mission is clear.
16:11Give creators the ultimate tool to break every barrier.
16:14Linguistic, creative, temporal.
16:16We're not here to replace creators.
16:18We're here to multiply their impact.
16:20Bienvenue dans l'ère de la voie sans frontière.
16:23Excellent, congrats.
16:25It's actually great because I'm thinking about the creators and the teams of Webidia Elephant.
16:30They are in many countries.
16:31We have people in France, in Brazil, in Mexico, in Germany, in Spain.
16:35It opens up to the creators like an entire new world when they don't necessarily speak English or make their
16:39videos in English.
16:41Yeah, yeah, exactly.
16:42And what I wanted to show also in this video is that on top of audio, the Eleven Labs platform
16:50is also the gateway to the best image and video generation models.
16:54It's like the one I used for this video, which enables our users to be able to use like a
17:01full tool of products covering visual but also audio in a single platform with automation workflow to kind of like
17:08put their creative process on autopilots by like staying on a single platform.
17:15Yeah, that's great.
17:16Thanks so much.
17:17And last but not least, you know, our latest dear partner, so Jason with Luma AI.
17:22So Jason, can you tell us a little bit, like can you introduce Luma and tell us what makes you
17:26unique, you know, the technology that you have that's so specific?
17:29Yeah, thank you.
17:30Firstly, thank you for inviting us onto this panel and we're really delighted with the partnership with Pauline and the
17:36team.
17:37So Luma is a frontier AI research lab.
17:41We develop models and products that we really focus on making sure they can work for anyone here in the
17:48audience.
17:50Our history is in video.
17:52We have two foundational models, our Ray 3 models and also our image models called Uni 1.
17:58And then above our models, what we've worked very hard on over the last 12 to 18 months and we
18:04launched it in February, is Luma Agents, our creative intelligence platform, which is going to be the technology that we're
18:10providing to human after all.
18:13And the amazing thing about this is it's been built by creatives for creatives and it's really there to enable
18:19what I think is going to be a creative renaissance that enable the AI is going to allow us to
18:24do.
18:24And you can access multiple models, not just our models, but also the models of 11 Labs and Google and
18:31others, all in one place.
18:33And our agents are the world's experts in each of these models, including, of course, our own models.
18:38So in one place, you can get the power of 11 Labs and the audio expertise and the audio models
18:44that they have, the incredible capability that Google has, whether it be a Nano Banana, Vio or an Omni, all
18:52in one place.
18:52And we think that that's going to really break down barriers around creative, being able to enable creatives to do
18:59amazing work in one place and power that creative renaissance.
19:03I think we have a little video to illustrate what you just talked about.
19:07On the agents, I think you do, yeah.
19:08So let me see.
19:15And that was it.
19:16And that was it.
19:23Creative ambition is expanding, but the creative process hasn't changed.
19:33But what if the process finally caught up?
19:37Imagine a new kind of collaborator.
19:41You set the direction.
19:43They scale execution with you.
19:48Creative agents that understand the physical world.
19:54See what comes next.
19:57Explore more possibilities.
20:00Collaborate with other creatives.
20:03Ideas multiply.
20:05And what once took weeks happens in moments.
20:25And the amazing thing is, you know, we're always looking at new models, always adding new models.
20:30So just a couple of weeks ago, we had Seed Dance 2.0 going there, which has been absolutely flying
20:36off the shelves.
20:37So we're really trying to make it one place where creatives can have fun.
20:41And so with all that technology in place, how will you be supporting the AI creative studio human after all
20:47that Webidia Elephant is launching?
20:50Yeah, I mean, it's very intuitive, firstly.
20:53So the platform, you can talk to it like you're talking to your creative partner or, you know, like you're
20:58talking to a normal human being.
20:59We say that we don't want people to have a PhD in Luma or in any model in order to
21:04get the best out of it.
21:05But I think more importantly is we have Ford Deploy Creatives, which is a growing term in the AI industry,
21:13where we have some of the best AI artists sitting in our company who are going to be training and
21:19are going to be enabling the human after all studio.
21:23And the other thing that we're really excited about is these are really sophisticated content creators and people are doing
21:29content all the time.
21:30It's a two-way street, right?
21:31So we're putting out great technology, great products.
21:33We also want feedback.
21:35So our Ford Deploy Creatives act as that vehicle, as that bridge towards our engineering team so we can continuously
21:41improve the product for creatives.
21:44That sounds all great.
21:46The video you showed was great, but I think, you know, more concretely, can you explain to us, like, you
21:50know, or show us what your technology really does?
21:53And I think we have another little video for that.
21:56Two videos.
21:59So this is a cool one that we did at the launch event a couple of weeks ago where you're
22:03just seeing our video-to-video.
22:05Capability where, without a green screen, with live capture, you can put any human into any environment.
22:16And these are just some – we shot these sort of half an hour before it went live and then
22:20they were showing it live on stage.
22:23So one thing that we're very focused on is we don't think that we're going to be in a world
22:28where everyone's going to want AI to be doing everything.
22:31Yes, AI is incredibly powerful and it can deliver a lot and it can do the end-to-end process.
22:37But we're also very focused on hybrid shoots, on, yes, we can deliver synthetic humans, i.e. AI models.
22:44But it's just as important to us to make sure that we're using real actors, real models, and that we're
22:50putting the power into the user's hands.
22:51Yeah, which is something that's key for us.
22:53So actually I'm going to replay the video, but the people that you see on the screen, they're our dear
22:58colleagues.
22:59So you don't see them, but yes.
23:01So they're our colleagues.
23:02We shot them, as Jason was saying, that the video in a cafe two weeks ago.
23:07And what's key, and maybe Pauline you can talk a little bit about that as well, it's the fact that
23:12as we're saying, Jason, we're not replacing anyone.
23:15We're empowering creators and actors.
23:17The acting talent is still there.
23:21I mean, that's our colleague, Philippe, he's a great actor.
23:23He looks great as a cowboy.
23:26And what's amazing too, it's that the coffee cup he was holding turns into a whiskey glass.
23:33And that was a little bit the same, you know, with you, Lenaighe, it was your voice.
23:38When you translated, it still had your accent.
23:40So long story short, goes back to human after all.
23:44And yeah, it's really like about empowering creators.
23:47Yeah, to me, the most striking on the videos you just showed, whether it's the one of Luma or the
23:53one of Eleven Labs,
23:54the progress that has been made in just a few months, it's just crazy.
23:58I mean, a few months ago, you would say that you will never do or propose a big show to
24:03a TV channel
24:03because it was not the right level of craft.
24:06Now, really, it is.
24:07So I think it's really game-changing for all the creative industry at the moment.
24:11That's exactly what we are doing with Google at the moment as well.
24:15And really, the next steps are happening on the ground at the moment.
24:19And that's why we are focusing at the moment on documentaries, but also animation or brand content.
24:24I mean, as I said really at the beginning, it's really opening a new world of possibilities,
24:30and we really want to embrace them.
24:31And so in terms of next steps, you gave us a hint.
24:35What are the key milestones coming up for you, and what can we expect next?
24:38I think, to me, beyond the craft, what we are really thinking of at the moment,
24:43thinking about is everything related to the ethical and the legal framework,
24:48which is super important for us as well.
24:50We really want innovation not to happen at the expense of talents and artists.
24:55So it's really at the core as well and in the spirit of human after all.
24:59How do we build with them this legal and ethical framework?
25:03And then to be super, super concrete on the program,
25:06we are launching the first season of the AI Creator program at the end of August
25:12to be really ready for the new season.
25:15It will be a select cohort of 15 participants,
25:18and we are finalizing the list of the participants at the moment.
25:23So yes, the momentum is really happening right now.
25:26That's excellent.
25:27And so I have another minute and 30 seconds,
25:30and I have the power because I'm a moderator.
25:32So I'm going to ask you one unplanned question to all of you.
25:37This isn't scripted.
25:38No, this is not scripted.
25:39We are going into uncharted territories.
25:41We are still human.
25:41We cannot accept that.
25:43But I was wondering, for each of you,
25:45what gets you the most excited about AI in content creation and creativity coming up in the next 12 months?
25:51Mathieu, maybe you can tell us.
25:53It has to be short.
25:54We have one.
25:55Well, I mentioned it shortly beforehand,
25:57but I believe the new medium and the new kind of art directions
26:01and new kind of content that creator and talent will be able to create thanks to AI.
26:07Excellent.
26:08Pauline?
26:08I would say the time to test and the time to market,
26:11which has totally changed.
26:13So when you are creative, you can test your ideas immediately, which is crazy.
26:18Yep.
26:20Similar, anyone here, be they a creative director, a film director,
26:24or just someone who's a student,
26:25they now have access to technology that can take the grain of an idea
26:29and they can take it anywhere.
26:32And for me, I think it would be the scale that you can reach with AI.
26:38Yep.
26:39Excellent.
26:39So thank you so much for reaching out the end of our slot.
26:43Thank you so much, everyone.
26:44You're going to stick around maybe if people want to talk to you.
26:47Super excited.
26:48Thank you so much for attending our talk.
26:50We'll share news about the AI studio and AI creative programs
26:53through different channels that we have
26:54and hopefully we'll see you soon, next year maybe.
