00:00Thank you all. Thank you so much. Good morning, everyone. I'm Gary Xia from the marketing team of Unitary Robotics.
00:07It's such a great honor to be here in France at Viva Tech.
00:12And today, we'd like to talk about what we believe to be the next revolution of artificial intelligence.
00:20For the past decade, artificial intelligence has transformed the digital world.
00:25It can now read. It can write. It can generate images. It can also help us write codes.
00:32It has been helping us making decisions better and faster than ever before.
00:39But for the moment, most of the EI still lives behind a screen.
00:43They cannot physically interact with us.
00:46And that is why we think that the next revolution of artificial intelligence is going to happen beyond the digital
00:54world.
00:55It's going to enter the physical world and interact with us.
00:59And this revolution, we call it the embodied AI.
01:06For decades, automation has relied highly on specified machines.
01:12One machine for one task.
01:14One robot for one production line.
01:17And one system for one environment.
01:20For this world, all these environments are actually built around human.
01:26For example, like factories, warehouses, schools, airports, and offices.
01:32And that is why the human robots has attracted so much attention since the launch of human robots.
01:38Not because they look like us, but because we really believe that the human robots will enter the physical world
01:48and operate naturally with us.
01:58We believe that human robots will become one of the most versatile, um, platforms that we ever created.
02:08And let's welcome one of our most popular robots, uh, Unity G1 onto this stage.
02:24Ever since the launch of Unity G1 in 2004, the human robots have walked out of labs and gradually into
02:31our daily lives.
02:34Let's see a little demo of the robot dancing on the stage.
03:00Every step and every dance moves that we see G1 doing on the stage represent a combination of hardware engineers,
03:07machine learning, motion control, balancing algorithms, and so on.
03:12And we believe this is only the beginning.
03:15Um, at Unity Robotics, we spend years developing robots that can move reliably and safely, um, in complex environments.
03:24Um, this year is the 10th anniversary of Unity Robotics.
03:28And as of today, our robots are being deployed in over 50 countries worldwide.
03:36It has been used in a lot of scenarios, um, by universities, by research institutions, by labs, by tech companies,
03:44and by industrial, um, applications.
03:47Um, as we enter the era of embodied AI, we believe that human robots can be used in more places
04:02and environments.
04:03Um, and we believe that Unity Robotics will remain the task and mission to be simple.
04:11We want to make advanced robotics accessible to everyone, to developers, to researchers, to, um, enthusiasts, to entrepreneurs.
04:20We believe that the acceleration of embodied AI will only happen with the collaboration and contribution of everyone around the
04:29world.
04:38Um, um, here is a picture of our entire product line.
04:42Um, over the past 10 years, uh, we have formed a large family of all kinds of robots, including humanoid
04:48robots and quadruped robot dogs.
04:53The interaction itself, uh, uh, by the humanoid robot G1 might, might seem to be very simple, but behind that,
05:01it means that in the future, the relationships between human and robots will change.
05:07They will not only be operating and working behind a cage.
05:12They will actually be working alongside us.
05:14They will learn from us and they will adapt to us.
05:19They will help us perform tasks more efficiently.
05:23The future of collaboration, um, is between robots and people.
05:32And as of today, when we talk about embodied AI, we're not only talking about the robotics, the hardware itself.
05:39We're talking about the software, the simulation, the data, including the real world data and the synthetic data.
05:49What it means by that is that the physical AI will not only allows machines to understand the real world,
05:56but actually operates to learn, to manipulate, and to follow us.
06:03And eventually, what we believe is that the future of human or robot is that they will gradually generalize themselves
06:10to be able to be fully capable of operating and manipulations under all kinds of complex scenarios.
06:21And we believe that no single company can accomplish this on their own, we believe that the future of physical
06:28AI and embodied AI will be a collaboration, a collective contribution of all the companies around the world.
06:39And we believe that human or robots will also be a very good helper in Europe, because Europe possesses a
06:45lot of the very significant industries, including cover-grade world-class tech companies.
06:51And we believe that in the future, with the partnerships in Europe, initial robotics will be able to generate more
07:00valuable use cases in Europe and around the globe.
07:03And we truly believe that the future of embodied AI will be based on human or robots, and the relationship
07:12between the human or robots and people will be collaboration, but not replacement.
07:16Thank you so much.
