00:09he would have loved what this team was about with their resiliency and so all that came flooding
00:13through and and i think you know for all of us who've been watching this team for a long time
00:17you think about your childhood you think about um watching you and mr finger roll um somebody who's
00:25now a friend and went to the same school as me charles smith when he missed the layups and you
00:29think about that um you think about all the moves that this team has made and and it's weren't good
00:36um people worried about the five picks from mikhail bridges all that came flooding too so for me
00:41it means if you would have told i guess the way i look at it is if you would have
00:46told
00:47me in 1994 i was 11 years old that it was going to take 32 years to see this
00:53i would and and it would feel this good and to see the joy of people in the streets last
00:58night
00:59i would have said yes worth it it's it's it's absolutely worth it and i know that both of my
01:04parents um who were very proud of what i've done in my career are their their energy is around and
01:13they're happy about that now so for me personally it means a lot um to see this team win i
01:18wish they
01:18were here to see it but they were the first people i thought about first people i thought about last
01:23night um and the emotion came through and i was talking about this earlier uh today and it was
01:28like that just came through it's hard to separate your childhood your journey we have journeys with
01:35teams but it's personal too right like personal all that stuff comes through so for me that that's
01:40that's definitely what it meant
