00:00Every time Clyde talks about the old teams,
00:03what's the first thing that comes out of his mouth?
00:04Willis was our leader.
00:05Willis set the tone.
00:07Willis was – he was our example.
00:08He was our shining light.
00:10He was everything.
00:11And to hear a guy who in his own right is arguably the most meaningful player
00:15in franchise history talk about Willis in that way, I'm like, oh, okay.
00:20Maybe I should listen to what he's saying.
00:22And at the same time, the NBA wasn't –
00:27like we were 20 years away from games not being taped to late.
00:31You know?
00:32Right.
00:32So I don't actually know if with the lack of weight,
00:38the lack of outside weight, you can have the same amount of meaning
00:42that Jalen Brunson has now in this day and age with social media
00:45and all the different things that we all engage with on a daily basis.
00:49So then the only other name that comes to my mind is Patrick.
00:52And I often struggle, as listeners of mine will know,
00:58with how to balance length of time with ceiling or with accomplishment
01:04or whatever.
01:06And Patrick being a warrior for 15 years, never scaled the mountaintop,
01:12but he was a warrior for 15 years.
01:15In the NBA, obviously, I was under – that was Michael Jordan's era.
01:18So a lot of spot – big spotlight, it's 1 and 1A for me
01:23in some order between Brunson and Ewing.
01:26That's something I would really have to sit and think about.
