By Ben Rudd

Check out the hilarious moment one Boston police officer gets involved with fans celebrating Scotland’s arrival to the World Cup in the USA.

David Byrne, from Glasgow, UK, was in the midst of a large group of fans, singing to music and playing with a football when the cheerful police officer walked past.

Donning a high vis police vest, the cop was given the ball and started doing keepy uppies to the delight of the crowd.

After performing the trick, the fans erupted with cheers and celebrated with the cop.

David posted the video on TikTok which gathered over 100k views.

One TikTok user wrote: ‘America is having one big sleepover!’

Another said: ‘America is back baby.’

A third commented: ‘That’s beautiful to see in these worrying times’.

David ended his post with: “Brilliant by Boston Police”.
