00:08I play Sarah Johnson, and I'm continuing the character from the first stage of that dance.
00:13What we wanted to do was legitimately say, what will the next challenge be in Sarah's life?
00:17Where is she going to go?
00:19I truly all choose.
00:20The bar's being raised.
00:22Sarah Johnson gets into Julia.
00:24She's there for ballet.
00:26She wants to become a prima ballerina.
00:28That's her dream.
00:28And this is what she's working towards.
00:30I'm not going to quit.
00:32No matter how hard you push me, I've worked too hard to get here, and I'm prepared to do whatever
00:37it takes to be the best.
00:39Finding a way for that story to be fresh and original, and to feel like a legitimate, authentic new chapter
00:45in Sarah's life, where we could all root for her again, was really important to us.
00:49And I was hoping that maybe you could help me out.
00:52How?
00:53Choreograph a dance piece.
00:54Me?
00:55Yeah, you.
00:56Hip-hop has come from somewhere.
00:58Hip-hop has grown from something.
01:00I want people to really understand the meaning of hip-hop and what hip-hop is, which gets diminished as
01:04an art a lot of times.
01:05She moved miles, and she gets sucked into that whole hip-hop world again, and the music world.
01:27In the course of her coming-of-age story is pulled in two directions between the ballet and the hip
01:32-hop.
01:35She thinks she has to make a choice, and in fact, becoming who she is is her ability to combine
01:41the two and to become a person who can synthesize two different things and create something new.
01:46Five, six, seven, eight.
01:50Hip-hop is free.
01:54It's experience.
01:55Explore.
01:56Try out.
01:57See what happens.
01:59It's amazing.
02:00It seems a lot to come together what happens.
