00:09:38peel back the curtain, Bo Nickel was suggested that this is a more difficult fight than Colby Covington would have

00:09:44And a lot of people like Dacus' chances coming in here tonight.
00:09:48Dacus is an excellent fighter. He's very underlooked. You know, he had that hiatus from the UFC where he tightened
00:09:55up his game and came back.
00:09:56And you look at the two victories he had since then against Michele Pereira by knockout, who's one of the
00:10:01best knockout artists in the division.
00:10:03And then he submits Gerald Merchardt, who's one of the best submission artists in the division.
00:10:07The man is incredibly well-rounded, excellent striking skills, black belt, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and a ton of experience.
00:10:15And a guy who can stay calm in the fire. And that's what he's going to need tonight.
00:10:20And I think it's a very tough fight for Bo Nickel. It's a very good challenge, I should say, for
00:10:25Bo Nickel.
00:10:26What I love about Kyle Dawkinson, since he went away, when he got cut, he goes, I know that I
00:10:32have to work my way back.
00:10:33But he said he just beat people so bad that they had no choice because they recognized no one could
00:10:38fight him on the regional scene.
00:10:40And he's taken that confidence that he got over there, and he's used it in his return to the Octagon.
00:10:45I said to Kyle, what's going to be the most important? He goes, obviously, take down the fence.
00:10:49He said, Bo may have the idea that he's going to be able to strike for me inside the Octagon,
00:10:54but he will quickly recognize that he won't be able to, so he's going to try and wrestle.
00:10:59But he said he doesn't matter what Bo Nickel does. He feels like they're prepared thoroughly,
00:11:03they're ready for everything inside the Octagon, and he feels like he can put number five after tonight in the
00:11:10Octagon,
00:11:11in the streak, actually, and then move forward in the division.
00:11:14And even Bo Nickel acknowledged how hard it is once you are unceremoniously released from the UFC to work your

00:11:20and Kyle Dawkinson did it with a lot of style points, made himself undeniable.
00:11:24And the toughness is what jumps off the film for me.
00:11:27That Roman DeLidze fight in which he broke his face in three places, the eye socket was shattered,
00:11:31and he treated it, not unlike Dan Hooker, like it was a scratch,
00:11:35and was back in the gym a couple months later, absolutely remarkable.
00:11:38And now, an opportunity to produce a true signature win, if he can turn back, Bo Nickel.
