00:05after the Perikatan Nasional Supreme Council meets,
00:09Party Secretary-General N Satesh Kumar said.
00:12In a statement today, Satesh said the party's Central Committee has given
00:16MIPP President P. Punidhan a full mandate to determine the party's next political move.
00:23The development comes amid uncertainty within PN following PASA's decision
00:28to end its political cooperation with Bersatu, with PASA, Pakatan Harapan and Barisan Nasional,
00:34all reportedly making overtures to MIPP.
00:38Satesh said MIPP had also identified four seats it hopes to contest in Johor
00:43and three in Negeri Sembilan in the upcoming state elections.
00:48He added that the party's election machinery in Johor, Negeri Sembilan and Melaka
00:53has been fully mobilised and is already carrying out grassroots outreach programmes.
00:59Satesh said MIPP remained committed to promoting political stability,
01:04national unity and economic development,
01:06while continuing to champion the interests of the Indian community
01:10and Malaysians in general.
