00:49think aiden and the boys in general are used to being around strong women who have strong opinions
00:55and i think there was a sort of like back and forth between them they hugged it out and i
00:58think they ended things civilly but like are they the best of mates no are they going to be probably
01:03not it was an agree to disagree type of thing those two people will never see eye to eye and
01:08i don't
01:09ever expect them to be friends on the outside as we would say sometimes i feel like aiden just speaks
01:16for the sake of speaking and jasmine made a really valid point she was saying women have to deal with
01:21men's strong opinions all the time and then i was like well are we not allowed to have strong
01:25opinions you always do um and she was sort of getting her point across of you're not used to
01:31having a strong woman around and it i think he's threatened by it i think that's what it comes down
01:36to with aiden the reason he finds her off-putting is because i think she emasculates him oh for sure
01:43i think he feels small and because she's so intelligent she outwits him in every argument and
01:48sometimes his points just don't back up i mean jasmine said it herself aiden needs to take
01:53accountability and just apologize but he kept doubling down and saying i'm entitled to my
01:59opinion but it was mean and it was nasty and she was sort of saying you are my fella's brother
02:06your opinion means a lot so it was hurtful so i did feel for jasmine we touched on that yesterday

02:11think that's why his opinion mattered so much and that was like the final straw to see her break down
02:16like that because again it could be misinterpreted like those were kavin's thoughts not aiden's but
02:22i feel like kavin did a good job of reassuring her and saying like don't listen to my dickhead brother
02:28yeah i mean for 21 he's actually very mature for his age and i think that's why him and jasmine

02:38they ended things quite amicably to be honest i think they were both just like heated in the moment it
02:43was kind of like he said one thing she said another but i think they managed to resolve it in
02:47an okay manner i didn't see any sort of back and forth between them no i think they both realized
02:51where they went wrong they were both like very angry at each other which is understandable
02:58at the end of the day i think that they were both wrong in the way they spoke to each

03:01yeah and like there's two ways that they've they've both offended each other in different ways
03:06yeah priya felt belittled she felt like samraj was drawing her out in front of everybody and he
03:11apologized for that and then priya apologized for effing and blinding which we know is never nice
03:16yeah and i'd probably do the same as priya if someone called me embarrassing i'm not saying
03:21she's right to effing blind but i would do the same thing it's just one of those heat of the
03:25moment
03:26like you said i'm glad they squashed it because they do get on well and they obviously have a lot
03:30of respect for each other so i'm glad that's water another bridge i feel like with obviously we know
03:36how it is being in the villa like things can build up over time and then when things explode it's
03:40sort of
03:41like it's usually one small thing that's like the straw that broke the camel's back but i think the
03:45best thing to do when you're in that sort of environment is try and resolve it as like quickly
03:50and amicably as possible because i think like when that doesn't happen you just end up building so much
03:56resentment towards someone and then all of that eventually will come out over like one small
04:01thing they've settled on this cast specifically all gets along quite well so for them i feel like they
04:07value this let's kiss and make up really quickly yeah whereas we never apologize i don't recall
04:14getting apologies but i think it's good for them it shows that like maybe they will all be friends
04:20on the outside and there isn't a divide that we've seen in the past they are kind of a unit

04:26that's important like we know firsthand how hard it is to share a dressing room with people share a
04:32bedroom with people when there's tension in the air and it almost ruins the experience like you're
04:38there to find love you're there to make connections and because this was sort of a divide between the
04:42boys and the girls that really puts a spanner in the works of doing that like it's love island on

04:47dating show so so what's gonna happen if all the boys and all the girls hate each other i think

04:52essential that they made up i've noticed as well but like when people have been doing their goodbye
04:57speeches at the end how everyone i know we've only had what three people dumped so far robin victoria
05:03and opie but they've all mentioned that they've made lifelong friends and i think that is so sweet
05:08because if i was dumped i would never have fucking said that we know we've seen some progress with
05:15lorenzo and yazwin and i don't think aiden is happy about it i've been praying for sounds like these
05:23the one girl i actually think lorenzo has chemistry with is yasmin and i've been waiting for this to
05:30happen i mean we got a little tease tonight do we think lorenzo is going to be transparent with aiden
05:37and ask for permission because i don't think so i don't think he's well within his right to not do
05:41that because he doesn't owe aiden any loyalty he's get cracking on they're not exclusive they're not
05:47closed off and aiden knows damn well if another bombshell comes in he's going to be moving however
05:53he wants it's just because right now yasmin is his only option there could be a debate on both sides
05:59of this about the whole asking for permission before you go to the terrace or you go to the
06:02hideaway and if you're on one side of it you could say that would make me feel better if someone

06:08up to me and said hey i'm gonna kiss your girl on the terrace right now but at the same

06:12it almost doesn't it still hurts whether you get the warning or not so i don't know that's gonna
06:19be tricky for both of them and so it's so early days though like you know with this whole asking
06:24for permission stuff like i don't really understand it when it's still so early i don't know i can
06:30understand if it got really further along in the series like really deep connections have been formed
06:34and it's like a oh shit like i'm not gonna like i do fancy your partner and we've seen that

06:38on previous seasons of love island but when we're still in week two i'm like who why are we all
06:43asking for permission like it's not that deep if anything if anyone has to ask permission i'm not
06:49saying she does but if aiden wants a heads up from someone it should be from yasmin and that's not
06:55asking for permission at all she just could say to aiden hey i'm just gonna go and have a chat

07:26gonna happen up there you could have all intentions to do that but it might not happen and then you've
07:30just sort of stirred the pot for no reason i don't know i think it's murky waters for yas i

07:36just needs to be honest because if i'm making assumptions i feel like she really likes lorenzo
07:43and like if it's worth exploring just tell aiden now which she has but i think it's gonna get
07:49deeper than this and aiden is gonna crash out so i think out of all the couples in the villa

07:56moment i actually think the couple that has the most sexual tension i think because it's been
08:01building for quite some time is lorenzo and yaz and don't get me wrong like i love aiden as an
08:06individual i think he's brilliant i think he's so entertaining but i actually think i prefer yaz
08:10with lorenzo they just have this really like funny banter with each other even when it came to the
08:15challenge where he's like staring at her in the eyes and again it was just like they were laughing
08:19at it she was like sort of like touching his shoulder and like it was so funny i was like
08:23giggling my and like switching my feet fucking watching her in in the tease we saw like aiden
08:28confiding in ellie as well so i think whatever happens next is just going to bring aiden and
08:33ellie back together well i feel like he could have just done this so much sooner especially because
08:38yaz is getting to know lorenzo like why did you shut it down with ellie there's clearly something
08:42there and i think if anything it's just destroying ellie's self-esteem each time he opens the door
08:48closes the door opens the door closes the door and i just think it's not fair to her because
08:52she's going to be his shoulders cry on and like why did where did that leave her she's in this
08:57constant forwards and backwards with aiden she's trying to get to know tommy but he's always in
09:02the back of her mind and i think it's really mean i don't see it between her and i've been
09:06on the
09:07terrace yeah that like body language they were close to each other but the chat was just meh
09:11i don't see that connection that she had with aiden that's gonna be back soon i'm calling it now
09:17but i don't see how she's meant to have a connection with anyone else when she's still caught up on

09:21it's nasty like to play with someone's emotions like that you either want to explore it with it
09:26or you don't and the thing with aiden is he doesn't know how to juggle he can't multitask
09:30so he's thought you know what i'm sick of hearing the stick i'm just gonna focus on one at once

09:50welcome back to the debrief it's the return of a love island classic truth or dare where do we start
09:57with this one the challenges are tough they're meant to bring out the truth unfortunately and it's
10:04usually not about the person you're in your couple with that's what i mean i feel like with
10:09these challenges it's really hard to sort of be respectful when if the truth or the dare that
10:15you're getting is something that's really really messy and it specifies can't be your partner then
10:21it's like what else are you supposed to do like the games are there to be i don't want to
10:26say fun
10:26because i wouldn't say they're fun but they're there to be chaotic and also it's like people want to
10:32know like who else someone fancies and like that's the way to bring it out you do learn a lot

10:37games i think we definitely saw a few people be a bit ballsy we saw tommy kiss namibia and we

10:45she's single now so that's interesting because i don't think i've seen them speak before we had
10:50priya kissing tommy too so he was hot property in this challenge obviously we're not seeing anything
10:55with la so it'll be interesting if he explores any of those options do we think after a day like
11:01yesterday the way that everyone went about truth or dare was good it was messy yesterday and i think
11:08people were trying to somewhat keep the peace in the villa because it could have been worse it
11:13definitely could have been worse yeah but there's also the other side where everyone can always say
11:17it's just a game we heard that all the time when someone's feelings were hurt it was like it's just
11:22a game i had to do it and i think that brings us into like angelista's point she was mad

11:28had kissed mika but what was he supposed to do like you pick the card you have to do what

11:34says he wasn't trying to hurt angelista's feelings i didn't even think the kiss was that bad either
11:41like it wasn't a kiss that went on for like 20 seconds and was super like passionate and intimate
11:46don't get me wrong it was a kiss but also simba's only been in the villa what a couple days

11:52same time it's like the card specified like someone other than your partner so it was like what else was
11:57he meant to do say no say no i think that's what she wanted leave the chat what do we

12:03jasmine saying opie's there for clout do we think everyone's there for clout i said it last season

12:41think you're also here for clout but at the same time it's like you're right everyone is there for
12:46clout to some extent and i think some people i don't know what it is with some people that go

12:51love island but i think they just want to be like really humble about it and be like no no

12:59shouldn't villainize people who are open about the fact that they're there for clout i think it's

13:15back up because it was coming from jasmine and i think we sort of saw a bit of back and

13:21them he doesn't like it when she interrupts and i think it's because he's like it's nothing to do
13:27with you but one thing about jasmine is she's gonna say what's on her mind even if it's not directly

13:31do with her i think she just really has a sense of justice and if she sees it she's gonna

13:36opi's had a hard time recently and feels like everyone in the villa is attacking him though for fuck's
13:42sake all the time it's like he can't really get a break but his temper just ruins it for him

13:49single time and we saw that with him in victoria now he's always got samaraj trying to soft parent
13:55gentle parents samaraj is like it's okay opi don't worry opi don't don't don't show it you're going to
14:01feed into their point it made me laugh so much when samaraj is whispering him for him not to crash

14:06because then he was like then you're proving the goals that they're right and it's true though like
14:11opi just sort of flies off the handle very easily but i think i think what happens with him is

14:15just gets very passionate about his emotions and that can come out as like very i guess over the
14:21top and like the theatrics tend to come out and you know it's sort of when he goes on the
14:24defense
14:25i can actually relate to opi i don't know whether it's just the way i've been brought up but you

14:31when you've got siblings and you're constantly in fight or flight yeah being in the villa is like having
14:36siblings all arguing with you if you've not got a romantic relationship it's platonic
14:41and it's like having your big sister tell you off and you're like like always on the defense wanting
14:47to have a little scrap about it and i think he's just one of those people that it's like he's
14:51never
14:51going to see it from someone's perspective if they're shouting and being aggressive but if someone
14:56was speaking softly to him he might like when samaraj whispers and says it to him he takes it on
15:02board
15:03but if someone's been a bit passive with him he's instantly got his back up that same temper though
15:08is probably the reason why he's left the villa exactly he's ruined both of his connections
15:14and then at the end of the game it came down to who was the most compatible who had the
15:20best
15:20connection and his temper is what ruined his connection i mean are you surprised by the fact
15:25that sam and namibia ranked higher than victoria and opi i saw the point i think it was jasmine
15:32that made it at least sam and namibia respect each other yeah whereas opi lost all respect i think
15:41for everyone at this point yeah fuck his couple opi's done for he shot himself in the foot with
15:47that he really did because i think you could really see he was trying to fight his case so badly
15:52but again like with sam and namibia like albeit there wasn't any romantic connection but they did
15:57have this mutual respect for each other but i don't know i actually think if opi and victoria
16:03hadn't have had that route at the fire pit they wouldn't have been the ones going home he said
16:08yesterday i want to graft victoria that's my plan of action and then it wasn't until he called her out
16:14for being the biggest game player that she was like whoa wait a damn minute and i think the only
16:20reason he gave her that is because she kissed sam in the hideaway i think he realized oh she's clearly
16:25not interested in me spat his dummy out and said you're the biggest game player because it would
16:30have been an easy option for him to pick someone like jasmine no after she's just fired at him
16:33that would have been an easy cop out but he was like pissed at victoria and if he wouldn't have
16:39had
16:40that he might have still been in the villa i think with opi though he was very i don't want
16:44to say
16:44disingenuous but like i think he was only saying he was going to graft victoria literally because he
16:50just wanted a ticket to stay in that villa absolutely he's had all this time to go after
16:54her and he he was always saying to her his priority was angelista and so after obviously
16:59angelista's moved on with king simba i don't know i just felt felt like he was just saying that because
17:04he was like well i want to stay in and you're my only option so let me flock to you
17:08opi and victoria
17:09both attacked each other though he said the thing about victoria saying he's the number one she said i
17:15never said that then opi called her a game player again i think his back is just up against the
17:21wall
17:21and he feels attacked at all angles and i think that is what contributed to him going home because
17:26although it wasn't like an islander vote to send someone home everyone said yeah it was unanimous
17:32you're done pal but i think victoria is well within her rights to say that because he started on her
17:38first and she was like whoa sorry if i've said this to him i'll speak up now crickets no one
17:43was saying
17:44a thing so i don't know if we have to roll the tapes on that one but it just felt
17:49like he was
17:49just gunning at her for no reason she was like what do you say fuck me for yeah i love

17:54like victoria actually like she stood up for herself and she was like i didn't say that and then she's
17:59kind of opening it to the floor to be like who said that and then it was just crickets but

18:03fact that jasmine also stepped in and backed her up too i feel like jasmine is very much a girl's

18:08like she's always there when any of the girls need that support or backing because then opi just started
18:13coming at her and jasmine's like uh not on my watch honey the one or the two it's tough
18:19as hot-headed and defensive as he may be i do understand how hard it is for him like as

18:26as he might have been a game player trying to stay in connections blah blah blah he also hasn't had

18:30connection i think he's the only boy in there who hasn't kissed anyone said he felt like a virgin
18:35oh i think tommy hasn't kissed anyone either but he's very new opi's been in there from the start
18:41and he's had to watch everyone else crack on and as disingenuine as we might see the connections
18:45of bead it must be shit yeah so opi and victoria have gone where does that leave sam he's got

18:54connections he's back at square one again i think him and namibia could have gone as well
19:00like honestly it's it's a little bit of dead weight unfortunately they have no spark we haven't
19:06really seen sam or namibia speak to anybody else so i don't really know what's going to happen with
19:11them i don't really see sam have a connection with anyone to be honest he's trying i didn't yeah he's
19:16trying bless him but like i never really saw it between him and victoria i never saw it with him
19:21in namibia so it's like what else can you do at this point just like pray for a bombshell to
19:25come in
19:26we did see namibia have a little smooch with tommy though so maybe that's something that could be on
19:30the cards we've not seen a chat from them so i think she's still got a few options to explore
19:35maybe with the new boys um but for sam i think it's wraps i don't know it's he's just throwing
19:42shit at the wall and it's not sticking unfortunately and the boys just completely kill any game that he
19:48does have any aura he might have is gone out the window that's it for this week on the debrief
