00:37fully resolve things i would say would be aiden and jasmine but i think it's because their mentality
00:43is honestly worlds apart i think jasmine's a very very strong woman and she said it herself i don't
00:49think aiden and the boys in general are used to being around strong women who have strong opinions
00:54and i think there was a sort of like back and forth between them they hugged it out and i
00:58think
00:58they ended things civilly but like are they the best of mates no are they going to be probably not
01:03it was an agree to disagree type of thing those two people will never see eye to eye and i
01:08don't ever
01:09expect them to be friends on the outside as we would say sometimes i feel like aiden just speaks for
01:16the
01:16sake of speaking and jasmine made a really valid point she was saying women have to deal with men's
01:21strong opinions all the time and aiden was like well are we not allowed to have strong opinions
01:25you always do um and she was sort of getting her point across of you're not used to having a
01:32strong
01:32woman around and it i think he's threatened by it i think that's what it comes down to with aiden
01:37the reason he finds her off-putting is because i think she emasculates him oh for sure i think he
01:43feels small and because she's so intelligent she outwits him in every argument and sometimes
01:48his points just don't back up i mean jasmine said it herself aiden needs to take accountability
01:53and just apologize but he kept doubling down and saying i'm entitled to my opinion but it was mean
02:01and it was nasty and she was sort of saying you are my fella's brother your opinion means a lot
02:07so
02:07it was hurtful so i did feel for jasmine we touched on that yesterday i think that's why his opinion
02:12mattered so much and that was like the final straw to see her break down like that because again it
02:17could be misinterpreted like those were kavin's thoughts not aiden's but i feel like kavin did a
02:23good job of reassuring her and saying like don't listen to my dickhead brother yeah i mean for 21
02:29he's actually very mature for his age and i think that's why him and jasmine obviously get on so much
02:33i think who else did obviously apologize i think priya and samraj yeah i thought they ended things
02:39quite amicably to be honest i think they were both just like heated in the moment it was kind of
02:43like
02:43he said one thing she said another but i think they managed to resolve it in an okay manner i
02:48didn't see any sort of back and forth between them no i think they both realized where they went wrong
02:52they were both like very angry at each other which is understandable at the end of the day i think

02:59they were both wrong in the way they spoke to each other yeah and like there's two ways that they've
03:04both offended each other in different ways yeah priya felt belittled she felt like samraj was drawing her
03:10out in front of everybody and he apologized for that and then priya apologized for effing blinding
03:14which we know is never nice yeah and i'd probably do the same as priya if someone called me embarrassing
03:20i'm not saying she's right to effing blind but i would do the same thing it's just one of those
03:25heat of the moment like you said i'm glad they squashed it because they do get on well and they
03:30obviously have a lot of respect for each other so i'm glad that's water another bridge i feel like with
03:35obviously we know how it is being in the villa like things can build up over time and then when
03:39things
03:40explode it's sort of like it's usually one small thing that's like the straw that broke the camel's
03:44back but i think the best thing to do when you're in that sort of environment is try and resolve
03:49it as
03:49like quickly and amicably as possible because i think like when that doesn't happen you just end
03:54up building so much resentment towards someone and then all of that eventually will come out over
04:00like one small thing they've said or done this cast specifically all gets along quite well so for them
04:06i feel like they value this let's kiss and make up really quickly yeah whereas we never
04:12i don't recall kevin kenning apologies but i think it's good for them it shows that like maybe they
04:19will all be friends on the outside and there isn't a divide that we've seen in the past they are
04:24kind of a unit yeah i think that's important like we know firsthand how hard it is to share a
04:31dressing
04:31room with people share a bedroom with people when there's tension in the air and it almost ruins the
04:36experience like you're there to find love you're there to make connections and because this was
04:41sort of a divide between the boys and the girls that really puts a spanner in the works of doing
04:45that like it's love island on a dating show so so what's gonna happen if all the boys and all
04:50the
04:51girls hate each other i think it was essential that they made up i've noticed as well like when people
04:56have been doing their goodbye speeches at the end how everyone i know we've only had what three
05:01people dumped so far robin victoria and opie but they've all mentioned that they've made lifelong
05:06friends and i think that is so sweet because if i was dumped i would never have fucking said that
05:11we know we've seen some progress with lorenzo and yasmin and i don't think aiden is happy about it
05:20i've been praying for signs like these the one girl i actually think lorenzo has chemistry with
05:27is yasmin and i've been waiting for this to happen i mean we got a little tease tonight
05:33do we think lorenzo is going to be transparent with aiden and ask for permission because i don't
05:38think so i don't think he's well within his right to not do that because he doesn't owe aiden any
05:44loyalty he's get cracking on they're not exclusive they're not closed off and aiden knows damn well
05:50if another bombshell comes in he's going to be moving however he wants it's just because right
05:55now yasmin is his only option there could be a debate on both sides of this about the whole asking
06:00for permission before you go to the terrace or you go to the hideaway and if you're on one side

06:05you could say that would make me feel better if someone came up to me and said hey i'm gonna
06:09kiss
06:09your girl on the terrace right now but at the same time it almost doesn't it still hurts whether you
06:16get the warning or not so i don't know that's gonna be tricky for both of them and so it's

06:21early days though like you know with this whole asking for permission stuff like i don't really
06:26understand it when it's still so early i don't know i can understand if it got really further along
06:32in the series like really deep connections have been formed and it's like a oh shit like i'm not gonna
06:36like i do fancy your partner and we've seen that happen on previous seasons of love island
06:40but when we're still in week two i'm like who why are we all asking for permission like it's not

06:45deep if anything if anyone has to ask permission i'm not saying she does but if aiden wants a heads
06:51up from someone it should be from yasmin and that's not asking for permission at all she just
06:57could say to aiden hey i'm just gonna go and have a chat with lorenzo i'll catch you later i

07:02think lorenzo owes aiden anything in that situation can you imagine lorenzo going up to aiden going
07:07yes just aiden just so you know i have all intention of wanting to kiss yasmin up on that
07:12terrace you're never gonna say that to someone lorenzo's so funny though i just really can imagine
07:17him doing something like that for for whatever reason i think he would no i think he would too
07:22but you also can't preface that like you don't know what's gonna happen up there you could have all
07:27intentions to do that but it might not happen and then you've just sort of stirred the pot for no
07:31reason i don't know i think it's murky waters for yas i think she just needs to be honest because
07:39if i'm making assumptions i feel like she really likes lorenzo and like if it's worth exploring just
07:45tell aiden now which she has but i think it's gonna get deeper than this and aiden is gonna crash
07:52out so i think out of all the couples in the villa at the moment i actually think the couple
07:57that has
07:58the most sexual tension i think because it's been building for quite some time is lorenzo and yaz and
08:04don't get me wrong like i love aiden as an individual i think he's brilliant i think he's
08:07so entertaining but i actually think i prefer yaz with lorenzo they just have this really like funny
08:13banter with each other even when it came to the challenge where he's like staring at her in the
08:17eyes and again it was just like they were laughing at it she was like sort of like touching his
08:21shoulder and like it was so funny i was like giggling my and like switching my feet fucking
08:24watching her in in the tease we saw like aiden confiding in ellie as well so i think whatever
08:31happens next is just going to bring aiden and ellie back together but i feel like he could have just
08:35done this so much sooner especially because yaz is getting to know lorenzo like why did you shut it
08:41down with ellie there's clearly something there and i think if anything it's just destroying ellie's
08:46self-esteem each time he opens the door closes the door opens the door closes the door and i just
08:51think it's not fair to her because she's going to be his shoulders cry on and like why where does
08:55that
08:56leave her she's in this constant forwards and backwards with aiden she's trying to get to know
09:00tommy but he's always in the back of her mind and i think it's really mean i don't see it
09:04between her
09:05and no even on the terrace yeah that like body language they were close to each other but the chat
09:10was
09:11just meh i don't see that connection that she had with aiden that's gonna be back soon and i'm calling
09:16it now but i don't see how she's meant to have a connection with anyone else when she's still caught
09:20up on him it's nasty like to play with someone's emotions like that you either want to explore it
09:26with her or you don't and the thing with aiden is he doesn't know how to juggle he can't multitask
09:30so he's thought you know what i'm sick of hearing the stick i'm just gonna focus on one at once
09:34the tease said a lot but we still have so much more to talk about we haven't even gotten to

09:50welcome back to the debrief it's the return of a love island classic truth or dare where do we start
09:57with this one the challenges are tough they're meant to bring out the truth unfortunately and it's
10:04usually not about the person you're in your couple with that's what i mean i feel like with
10:09these challenges it's really hard to sort of be respectful when if the truth or the dare that
10:15you're getting is something that's really really messy and it specifies can't be your partner then
10:21it's like what else are you supposed to do like the games are there to be i don't want to
10:26say fun
10:26because i wouldn't say they're fun but they're there to be chaotic and also it's like people want to
10:32know like who else someone fancies and like that's the way to bring it out you do learn a lot

10:37games i think we definitely saw a few people be a bit ballsy we saw tommy kiss namibia and we
10:45know
10:45she's single now so that's interesting because i don't think i've seen them speak before we had
10:50priya kissing tommy too so he was hot property in this challenge obviously we're not seeing anything
10:55with la so it'll be interesting if he explores any of those options do we think after a day like
11:01yesterday the way that everyone went about truth or dare was good it was messy yesterday and i think
11:08people were trying to somewhat keep the peace in the villa because it could have been worse it
11:13definitely could have been worse yeah but there's also the other side where everyone can always say
11:17it's just a game we heard that all the time when someone's feelings were hurt it was like it's just
11:22a game i had to do it and i think that brings us into like angelista's point she was mad
11:27that simba
11:28had kissed mika but what was he supposed to do like you pick the card you have to do what
11:34the
11:34card says he wasn't trying to hurt angelista's feelings i didn't even think the kiss was that
11:40bad either like it wasn't a kiss that went on for like 20 seconds and was super like passionate and
11:45intimate don't get me wrong it was a kiss but also simba's only been in the villa what a couple
11:51days
11:51so at the same time it's like the card specified like someone other than your partner so it was like
11:57what else was he meant to do say no say no i think that's what she wanted leave the chat
12:02what do we think about jasmine saying opie's there for clout do you think everyone's there for clout
12:07i said it last season we're all on a tv show i don't want to hear that i don't want

12:13here for clout everyone is at the end of the day yes you're there for love i was there for

12:24most famous waitress in the world it's just an annoying one because someone has to get it whether

12:35love the fact that jasmine just owned it and she was like yeah like i love attention like and also
12:40opie like i think you're also here for clout but at the same time it's like you're right everyone is
12:45there for clout to some extent and i think some people i don't know what it is with some people
12:50that
12:50go on love island but i think they just want to be like really humble about it and be like
12:54no no i'm not here for that i don't care about this i don't care about that but i'm like
12:57i know
12:58you do i like we shouldn't villainize people who are open about the fact that they're there for clout
13:02i think it's better to own it yeah same yeah because if you get defensive about being there for clout
13:08and then have an influencing career after you'd be like that's a bit suspicious that's a bit weird
13:14i think opie got his back up because it was coming from jasmine and i think we sort of saw
13:20a bit of
13:20back and forth with them he doesn't like it when she interrupts and i think it's because he's like
13:26it's nothing to do with you but one thing about jasmine is she's gonna say what's on her mind even
13:30if it's not directly to do with her i think she just really has a sense of justice and if
13:34she sees
13:35it she's gonna call it opie's had a hard time recently and feels like everyone in the villa is
13:40attacking him though for fuck's sake all the time it's like he can't really get a break but his
13:46temper just ruins it for him every single time and we saw that with him in victoria now he's always
13:52got sunbrush trying to soft parent him gentle parents and i'm just like it's okay opie don't
13:58worry opie don't don't don't show it you're going to feed into their point it made me laugh so much
14:03when samar just whispering him for him not to crash out because then he was like then you're proving
14:07the goals that they're right and it's true though like opie just sort of flies off the handle very
14:12easily but i think i think what happens with him is he just gets very passionate about his emotions
14:17and that can come out as like very i guess over the top and like the theatrics tend to come
14:22out and
14:23you know it's sort of when he goes on the defense i can actually relate to opie i don't know
14:28whether
14:28it's just the way i've been brought up but you know when you've got siblings and you're constantly
14:33in fight or flight yeah being in the villa is like having siblings all arguing with you if you've not
14:39got a romantic relationship it's platonic and it's like having your big sister tell you off and you're
14:44like like always on the defense wanting to have a little scrap about it and i think he's just one
14:49of those people that it's like he's never going to see it from someone's perspective if they're
14:54shouting and being aggressive but if someone was speaking softly to him he might like when sam
14:59rush whispers and says it to him he takes it on board but if someone's been a bit passive with
15:04him he's instantly got his back up that same temper though is probably the reason why he's left the
15:11villa 100 he's ruined both of his connections and then at the end of the game it came down to
15:17who was the most compatible who had the best connection and his temper is what ruined his
15:22connection i mean are you surprised by the fact that sam and namibia ranked higher than victoria
15:30and opie i saw the point i think it was jasmine that made it at least sam and namibia respect

15:36other yeah whereas opie lost all respect i think for everyone at this point yeah fuck his couple
15:44opie's done for he showed himself in the foot with that he really did because i think you could really
15:49see he was trying to fight his case so badly but again like with sam and namibia like albeit there
15:56wasn't any romantic connection but they did have this mutual respect for each other but i don't know
16:00i actually think if opie and victoria hadn't had that route at the fire pit they wouldn't have been
16:06the ones going home he said yesterday i want to graft victoria that's my plan of action and then it
16:13wasn't until he called her out for being the biggest game player that she was like whoa wait a damn
16:18minute and i think the only reason he gave her that is because she kissed sam in the hideaway
16:22i think he realized oh she's clearly not interested in me spat his dummy out and said you're the biggest
16:28game player because it would have been an easy option for him to pick someone like jasmine no after
16:32she's just fired at him that would have been an easy cop out but he was like pissed at victoria
16:38and
16:39if he wouldn't have had that he might have still been in the villa i think with opie though he
16:42was very
16:43i don't want to say disingenuous but like i think he was only saying he was going to graft victoria
16:48literally because he just wanted a ticket to stay in that villa absolutely he's had all this time to
16:53go after her and he always he was always saying to her his priority was angelista and so after
16:58obviously angelista's moved on with king simba i don't know i just felt felt like he was just saying
17:03that because he was like well i want to stay in and you're my only option so let me flock
17:07to you
17:08opie and victoria both attacked each other though he said the thing about victoria saying he's the
17:14number one she said i never said that then opie called her a game player again i think his back
17:20is just up against the wall and he feels attacked at all angles and i think that is what contributed
17:25to him going home because although it wasn't like an islander vote to send someone home everyone said
17:31yeah it was unanimous you're done pal but i think victoria is well within her rights to say that
17:36because he started on her first and she was like whoa sorry if i've said this to another speak up
17:41now crickets no one was saying a thing so i don't know if we have to roll the tapes on
17:46that one
17:47but it just felt like he was just gunning at her for no reason she was like what do you
17:51say fuck me
17:52for yeah i love the way like victoria actually like she stood up for herself and she was like
17:57i didn't say that and then she's kind of opening it to the floor to be like who said that
18:01and then it
18:02was just crickets but i love the fact that jasmine also stepped in and backed her up too
18:05i feel like jasmine is very much a girl's girl like she's always there when any of the girls
18:10need that support or backing because then opie just started coming at her and jasmine's like
18:14not on my watch honey the one or the two it's tough as hot-headed and defensive as he may
18:22be
18:22i do understand how hard it is for him like as much as he might have been a game player
18:27trying to
18:27stay in connections blah blah blah he also hasn't had a connection i think he's the only boy in there
18:32who hasn't kissed anyone said he felt like a virgin oh i think tommy hasn't kissed anyone
18:38either but he's very new opie's been in there from the start and he's had to watch everyone else crack
18:43on and as disingenuine as we might see the connections have been it must be shit yeah so
18:49opie and victoria have gone where does that leave sam he's got no connections he's back at square one
18:56again i think him in namibia could have gone as well like honestly it's it's a little bit of dead
19:02weight unfortunately they have no spark we haven't really seen sam or namibia speak to anybody else
19:09so i don't really know what's gonna happen with them i don't really see sam have a connection with
19:13anyone to be honest i'm trying i didn't yeah he's trying bless him but like i never really saw it
19:19between him and victoria i never saw it with him in namibia so it's like what else can you do
19:23at this
19:23point just like pray for a bombshell to come in we did seem to maybe have a little smooch with
19:27tommy
19:28though so maybe that's something that could be on the cards we've not seen a chat from them
19:32so i think she's still got a few options to explore maybe with the new boys um but for sam
19:38i think it's wraps i don't know it's he's just throwing shit at the wall and it's not sticking
19:44unfortunately and the boys just completely kill any game that he does have any aura he might have
