00:00Can we just say one thing that's going to be very disturbing? Harvey Weinstein.
00:06He, as we know, did some really horrific things, but he also did some great things for art cinema.
00:13Getting audiences, he was bold in that way.
00:17And, yeah, he loved films, you know, as well.
00:21So, I have to admit, it was his vision.
00:24And, yeah, it feels like now that there is a really big price to pay for the hashtag MeToo movement,
00:32like abortion, for example, being withdrawn in America,
00:38and the sense that the sort of patriarchy is really wanting to scratch back their ground, you know.
00:48That's my sense.
00:52And the positive, however, is that women now make money in a way that they didn't used to.
01:01Like, they have their profession, they have their money,
01:04and they want films that talk to them, not just Marvel movies, you know.
01:10They want their own cinema.
01:13And this is quite different, and you really see the change in TV, I think, in online material.
01:18And I think, in this way, those women are very powerful.
01:24And they changed the conditions for us, you know,
01:27so that it really has given many more female directors opportunities.
01:32And that's not going away.
01:33Thank you.
01:34Thank you.
