00:03USMCA did one thing that I loved.
00:06After six years, it comes up for renewal.
00:10I don't know that I'm going to renew it because,
00:13to be honest with you, the United States does much better.
00:18We don't need anything that Canada has,
00:20we don't need anything that Mexico has,
00:22but they need everything that we have.
00:24And they have to treat us better.
00:26You know, with Mexico and Canada, we have trade deficits.
00:31We should have surpluses with them.
00:33We don't need their cars, we don't need their lumber,
00:36we don't need their energy,
00:37we don't need anything that they have.
00:40So the primary thing that I got,
00:42it was a much better deal than NAFTA, much, much better.
00:45It was sort of a good deal,
00:47but it was a great deal for one reason.
00:49It gave the right to terminate.
