00:00FIFA is saying this is going to be the most profitable World Cup yet.
00:03How much money is this tournament expected to generate?
00:06How does all of this money get allocated?
00:08Well, that's a very interesting question.
00:10And, you know, it's a little bit hard to say exactly where it goes and how it goes
00:15because why a nonprofit needs to generate...
00:18You know, this World Cup is expected to generate anywhere between $11 and $13 billion.
00:23Wow.
00:24And it's hard to say why a nonprofit needs to generate that much money.
00:29Which FIFA is.
00:29Which FIFA is a nonprofit.
00:31The last World Cup generated about $5 to $6 billion.
00:34So trying to double your revenue in that way, this is obviously because of adding new games,
00:40adding in the ticket prices, the dynamic ticket prices, which have a lot to play in there.
00:44So I think that the money allocation, what they will say is this goes into soccer federations
00:50around the world and it's about growing the game around the world.
00:52And particularly when you come into the U.S. market, which they need to do a lot of growing
00:58the sport in the U.S.
01:00to try and bring it up to the rest of the world.
