Rare snake resembles a stick lying in the mud

Luiz wasn't prepared for an exciting encounter, but nature had different ideas. 'On my way to the farm, I spotted this unique snake,' Luiz shared with WooGlobe. 'I paused to film it, and my German Shepherd, AKIRA, who is always by my side, unexpectedly dashed in front of it and nearly got struck by the snake.' Its slender, elongated form made it appear more like a stick resting on the ground than a living being.
