Exotic snake looks like a twig stretched across the mud

Luiz wasn’t expecting a thriller, but nature had other plans.

''While heading to the farm, I came across this rather exotic-looking snake,'' Luiz told WooGlobe.

''I stopped to record it, and my German Shepherd, AKIRA, who always accompanies me, suddenly ran in front of it and almost got bitten by the snake.''

It was so thin and quite long, it looked more like a twig stretched across the mud than a living creature.
