00:04This is Austin, Texas, one of the fastest growing and safest cities in the country.
00:10These three families, the Stewart's, the Bellamy's, and the Daniel's, were presented with an incredible opportunity.
00:18They are going to choose their new neighbor and give them this brand new home.
00:23They will decide which family moves in and which family moves out.
00:28And the family that's leaving tonight is.
00:31Seven deserving families will compete for a piece of the American dream.
00:36A gorgeous house, four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a game room, a spa, the works.
00:43In a picturesque community, a place where children are safe, values are strong, and neighbors are best friends.
00:51I'm going to be very, very protective of this cul-de-sac.
00:55But this is more than a game. The families vying for the house will be judged by the actual neighbors
01:01in the cul-de-sac.
01:02They're opinionated.
01:03I want a family similar to what we are.
01:07Judgmental.
01:07I absolutely will not tolerate people who don't know what they're doing in their life.
01:11And totally set in their ways.
01:13For someone to come in here and upset the apple cart wouldn't be good.
01:18Yet watch as these people share their lives.
01:22Never once crossed my mind how emotionally attached I'd get to these families.
01:26Open their hearts.
01:27I do believe that I'm a better man from meeting Craig and his family.
01:32And embrace new values.
01:33On introduction day, the leads got out and I saw them as a Korean family.
01:38You guys got out and I saw you as a gay family.
01:40The sheets got out and I saw them as a tattooed family.
01:43And now we all just see you as people.
01:47What is truly important?
01:49Because it's not just a house. It truly is a family.
01:53They want to live in this community.
01:57This place is like a village and everybody cares about each other.
02:01It's not about winning a house. It's more about winning an entire community.
02:05I will tell you, my perception changed.
02:09I don't think that we'll ever look at someone and judge them from a distance again.
02:14How would you decide?
02:15We're not judging these people based on whether or not we think they're good people.
02:19We're choosing a neighbor.
02:20And the owner of the home.
02:23Who would you pick to welcome to the neighborhood?
02:27Who would you get found for?
