00:03Hey, it's People in 10. The World Cup is here, y'all, and it's about to make history.
00:08The action kicks off today, and it's the biggest tournament ever. 48 teams, 104 matches,
00:15three host countries. There's even a star-studded music lineup to look forward to. But while the
00:20world's biggest athletes get ready for the world's biggest stage, some of their smallest fans are
00:25already dressing for the fun. Nurses at a Texas NICU created custom World Cup outfits for their
00:30tiny patients. These babies are ready for kickoff before they can even crawl. They've got our vote
00:36for cutest team. No competition. Ariana Grande is once again saying thank you next.
00:48The pop star and her latest ex, Ethan Slater, are no more. After quietly splitting several months ago,
00:54they dated for three years. I know, time flies. And their relationship did start out with a few
01:00bumps, but an insider tells us they're still friends and very supportive of each other.
01:04I would do anything for you. Maybe it's for the best. The source also said that Ari's doing great
01:09these days, and between her new tour and her new music, she's got plenty keeping her busy.
01:18And speaking of exes, Princess Kate recently had a run-in with an old flame. So she attended the
01:24wedding of Prince William's cousin, Peter Phillips, to pediatric nurse, Harriet Sperling. Also spotted
01:29among the guests, Rupert Finch and his wife, Lady Natasha, who was wearing a dress that honestly could
01:34have come from Kate's closet. But Kate and Rupert dated back in college at St. Andrews, when Kate was a
01:39freshman and Rupert was a senior. Their relationship was even featured on the final season of The Crown.
01:48But alas, the romance was brief, and Kate was soon won over by a different boy she met at school
01:54instead. And the rest, as they say, is royal history. Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau are red carpet official,
02:02after stepping up together at the Tribeca Festival for the premiere of Katy's new concert film from Paris.
02:07We've known her through all sorts of dating eras, but this one, she tells us, is her best one yet.
02:13She even calls Justin the love of her life and says she's grounded in many ways by their love for
02:17each other. To have that anchor, she added, finally makes me feel really whole. And it shows.
02:24Coleman Domingo just took a serious leap of faith. He's been booked and busy this year on the big and
02:30the
02:30small screen, which is where he joined Bear Grylls for the season finale of his Running Wild show.
02:34And their adventure began thousands of feet in the air.
02:38Wow.
02:39What can go wrong?
02:41Let's not go there.
02:42The helicopter climbed higher and higher. And just as Coleman started to get really nervous,
02:48it was time.
02:53But once he was falling, he loved it.
03:00Well, it's been six months since we got the news about Rob and Michelle Reiner.
03:04And now there's a new development in the case. Let's find out what it is.
03:10Hey, McCoy, how's it going?
03:11Hey, Liam. It's going good. All right. So listen, we know that Nick has been charged with their murders,
03:15but this week there's been some movement in his case. What can you tell us?
03:19Yeah. So as we know already, Nick is facing two counts of first degree murder in the deaths of his
03:23parents. And now he's asking for access to a trust fund that Rob and Michelle apparently had set up in
03:30his name. He was supposed to get half the money when he turned 30. According to his filing,
03:34he's now 32 and would stand to inherit the rest at 35. And he's requesting access to those funds.
03:41So let me get this straight. He's looking to get money from a trust that was set up by the
03:46people
03:46he's accused of killing. What? That's exactly right. There's certainly some legal and ethical
03:53questions about if he can and should get it. It kind of reminds me to a slightly different
03:59situation, but with some striking similarities, you know, the Menendez brothers, when they were
04:04on trial for the murders of their parents, the first time Nick also has two siblings and they
04:09have trust in their names. You know, you could ask the question, like, should they ultimately get
04:14the money if Nick is found guilty? What's he saying he needs the money for?
04:18Nick So two main reasons, one being that he wants to fund his commissary account behind bars,
04:24which would allow him to buy things like, you know, soap and socks and basic necessities. The
04:29other big thing though, is it would allow him to pay for legal expenses. This money would certainly
04:36help him probably buy a better defense, but he's currently being represented by a public defender.
04:41Speaker 1 Liam, this case is so sad on so many levels. Well, thank you for breaking it down.
04:46I'll talk to you later. Talk later. Bye.
04:50Most people just get a tattoo, but MGK reinvented his entire body. The singer says his massive
04:56blackout tattoo was supposed to take two years, but he did it in two months. And now he had missed
05:02the process made him really sick. His skin turned yellow, he stopped sleeping, and he couldn't move
05:07parts of his upper body, all while sitting through nearly impossible levels of pain. So why do it?
05:12Well, he says he wanted a physical reinvention, not just a musical one. And I guess he got what he
05:18wanted because he says it changed him. And he came out extremely inspired. Taylor Swift knows how
05:25to serve a look and did just that at the Toy Story 5 premiere, just days after she revealed her
05:30new
05:30soundtrack song. Tay wore a patchwork Erdem mini dress that totally channeled Bo Peep and was seen
05:42holding a VHS copy of the original, which appeared to be signed by members of the cast. Collectible.
05:47And our girl's been a huge fan. Look at young Tay go. So cute. Inside the theater,
05:53the audience was treated to a live performance of the new song.
06:02As well as one of the classics.
06:11Gather your post-its and get ready for another epic high school reunion.
06:15We just waited and waited. God, I was such an idiot.
06:19Oh no, no, no, no, no. Because it's all happening. Lisa Kudrow and Mira Sorvino are back for the sequel
06:25to their beloved 90s classic. With 20th Century Studios announcing on Monday that Romeo and Michelle
06:312 is already in production. There is no way this reunion is going to get any better.
06:36Well, it might, because not only do we have our leading ladies, but the whole gang is reprising their
06:41roles. And I have a feeling they're about to nail it.
06:51Now it's a sit down with Jacob Anderson and Sam Reed. Hello, my sweet vams.
06:56There are more eyeballs on this show than ever. And season three is a wild ride.
07:01What is one thing you'd ask viewers to not judge Lisette for?
07:07Do you want to answer that question? No, I was just laughing. It was a good question.
07:11Yeah, so you don't answer it. I'm interested in.
07:16I mean, I think that's what this season is, right? Like the whole thing is, is, is
07:24some context. Context. Is it really, is very important. I love Lestat.
07:30I love Lestat. I've always loved Lestat. Like, I don't judge him anymore.
07:37I think in the end, I was pretty f***ing great. I don't feel the need to ask an audience to
07:44not
07:44judge him. I think it's within his remit and his kind of DNA to be judged. And he kind of
07:53welcomes
07:53that. And I think, um, he is love me or hate me. I'm the, I'm going to be the vampire
07:59Lestat anyway.
08:00No matter how dark the show gets, there's still always a playful undertone. Like you're winking
08:05at the fans. How do you balance that? I mean, a big part of that is Lestat. You're in Lestat's
08:10mind, you know, and that's a big part of the way he operates. You know, he's, he's very dark. He's
08:15an
08:15optimist in some capacity. You know, he's not, he doesn't wallow in grief. He doesn't wear
08:20grief, like velvet, like Louis. Do you know what I mean? He, he's actually, he's more of a, you know,
08:26like, let's make the best of the situation kind of guy, uh, you know, and, and, and does see humor
08:31in everything. I bet. But a big part of that is also down to Roland and in the edit and
08:37the way he
08:37creates the scenes, the scenes are written with more humor. There's like gag, gag, gag, gag, gag, gag,
08:43gag, gag, gag, gag, over and over and over and over and over again, even while it's like, you know,
08:47the most traumatic thing in the world. And that's wonderful. Like it's really fun.
08:51No, thank you. Last time we talked, you said your final pre-vamped meal would be schnitzel
08:56and Riesling because you were filming in Prague. What was the schnitzel of Toronto that you enjoyed
09:00during your downtime together? Yeah. I mean, like, to be honest, I don't know. I don't,
09:04I actually don't like, I mean, I was just, I was just like trying to keep it in theme and
09:10I was like,
09:11that was the little, you know, that was what we were eating in Prague. And, um, I, I regret that,
09:16that choice. So thank you very much for giving me the opportunity to re-answer. You debunked it.
09:21That was actually a really, really nice meal. It wasn't true. I mean, honestly, because like,
09:27it wasn't that. I've seen that clip. Really? I gave you such a hard time about it. It's true.
09:32That would be your last meal. Last meal. Probably like my favorite thing in the world and I don't get
09:38to
09:38eat it very much. And I love it to death and could eat mountains of it is spaghetti bolognese.
09:45And I just don't get to eat that very much. It's not the thing that I get to eat, um,
09:49really badly these days. I mean, I eat it like really.
09:54What are you going to say? Cheese on toast. What? What? Cheese on toast.
10:01There's an amazing place in Toronto, which I had, um, delivery a lot of, um, called Mama Bee Kitchen.
10:12And it was exceptional food. Yeah, that was really good, but never saw the inside of it.
10:17Um, I don't know what it looks like and I don't know where it is, but you should check it
10:21out.
10:21They have an amazing, and I would, I would bring these for you sometimes. I'd bring them into work.
10:25Oh, the cookies. They have the amazing cookies. So yeah, yeah, they had like a beyond and it was called
10:30a, um,
10:31Salty cookies. Yeah, it was like a salty, but it was, uh, it was like, what was it called?
10:35It was like called like a super cookie or like a, I don't know. It was like amazing. And that
10:41was like my
10:43treat of the week. And I also, cause I, you know, and I would buy like multiples of them,
10:48give them out to people because I was like, this is the best thing in the world. I wish I
10:51could remember
10:51what they were called. Your co-star Eric is famously online. What's the fan theory he's
10:56made you aware of that you can't forget? Yeah, no, Eric's like, he's like TikTok.
11:01Yeah, I know, I know he's got a TikTok. Yeah. Twitter, like he's on everything.
11:05Yeah. He knows everything. I did get shown a photograph of him,
11:09like that he posted of himself, like sitting in a chair, like,
11:14manspreaded going like, who's ready to party or something like that.
11:18Yeah. In, in a scene that comes up in, um, in the show later on. And I was like, wow,
11:23that's good on him. I love it. Yeah. I haven't really heard fan theories for a long time. Like,
11:29obviously the, the, the last time we were like really discussing fan theories was that Armand was
11:34Alice. Like, that's like the last, like main. Oh yeah. That was a good one. That I know. Yeah.
11:40I love that one. Yeah. I love that one. Jacob and Sam, thank you so much for being here today.
11:45Thank you. Thanks very much.
