The Philippine Embassy in Tel Aviv, led by Philippine Ambassador to Israel Aileen Mendiola, holds a flag-raising ceremony to commemorate the country’s 128th Independence Day celebration on June 12, 2026. Mendiola told The Manila Times that the celebration was held a day earlier due to the city’s Pride Parade, which is expected to cause road closures across Tel Aviv.
