Sara wants Marcos' term to end to see how 'shameless' he is

Vice President Sara Duterte says that she wants to see the end of the term of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to see how 'shameless' he is. Duterte, on the sidelines of the Independence Day celebrations in Davao City on June 12, 2026, was reacting to calls by some retired military officers to lead in 'people power' protests to topple the current administration. She said that while she was the constitutional successor, she swore to 'preserve and defend' the Constitution.
