00:00The president expects us to be strong and resolute with the way that we respond and bring firepower.
00:05And we will certainly do that if need be.
00:07So thank you for traveling with us today very much.
00:09And we will strike them hard tonight.
00:11You mentioned earlier today about Cuba trying to procure weapons in terms of potentially for other countries and the threat
00:17that might pose.
00:18Can you expand on that?
00:19No, it's just a warning.
00:20Just a warning.
00:21You know, Cuba is 90 miles away.
00:24No country should live under the threat of those kinds of capabilities across from their shores.
00:28Are you talking about like WNN?
00:29Look at how like WNDs or I'm not going to tell you everything about what I know.
00:34There's classifications about things we know that we don't share with the press, which is why we're careful about press
00:37credentials at the Pentagon.
00:39There's a lot of things that the American people, the public don't necessarily need to know.
00:42All I know is 90 miles away from our shores, we shouldn't be tolerating any other country putting systems there.
00:49Just just think about what you know, we see it playing out in CENTCOM.
00:52When you have weapons that can range like that, it creates factors you have to deal with.
00:57So our message to Cuba is don't get into that game.
01:00Don't get into the game where you're threatening Americans or the American homeland because that won't go well for them.
01:07Clearly, you must believe that there's a risk that Russia or China.
01:11There's always a risk.
01:12There's always a risk, right?
01:13And we are monitoring the entirety of the globe.
01:15I'm not speaking to any specific intelligence.
01:17I'm just acknowledging the fact that there's a lot of pressure on the regime in Cuba right now, and rightfully
01:23so.
01:24They have big decisions that they should make.
01:26And sometimes leaders make the wrong decision when there's pressure on them.
01:29And we would encourage them not to go in that direction, which only creates the kind of threat the United
01:34States may have to deal with.
01:36And we have all the options we need in that scenario.
01:38How long would a U.S. military operation take to remove the communist regime in Cuba?
01:42And what would happen, per se, and how long would it take to reestablish order if President Trump were to
01:50decide to do a capture-kill operation with Miguel Diaz-Canal like he did with Maduro?
01:54All I would say is options, options, options.
01:58Our job is to present options at different scales, depending on where the commander-in-chief and the president of
02:04the United States wants to go.
02:05So capture and kill is still an option?
02:07We've got options all over the map.
02:09Just like we've got lots of options in CENTCOM.
02:12That's our job.
02:13Our building literally plans for a living.
02:15So besides the Pentagon, no one plans better than United States Central Command.
02:20So to kind of bring it back home to while we're here, all those options are on the table.
02:25The president expects us to be strong and resolute with the way that we respond and bring firepower, and we
02:31will certainly do that if need be.
02:32So thank you for traveling with us today very much, and we'll strike them hard tonight.
